I always thought these WCW action figures from the early 90's were the worst Whoever took this pic has 3 Stings and 2 Scott Steiners, which is weird because so did I. I will not hear a word against WCW Galoobs, let alone Ron Simmons whom my Dad bought me in hospital during my 11 years of being a crippled kid. I still have all these in the attic (I collect the new figures now and had to make room). If I'm out and about in the city and see a trunk sale and somebody has old figures I'll take a look. I got a Tom Zenk a while back for about a £1.

I had all of those when I was kid cause a Toy Store was selling them for $2 each. Also in the series not pictured: Butch Reed, Tom Zenk, Arn Anderson, Sid, Barry Windham , Lex Luger and Rick Steiner. They each came with this stupid little WCW belt. Also one Christmas I got the actual RING for those figures. It had a spring loaded turnbuckle for high flyin action, spring loaded steps, a bell and a plastic steel cage parts. If I go to my mums and looked threw her garage I could probably find them. Except Pillman who had an "accident" on a BBQ. Yeah I had Arn Anderson, 2 Ric Steiners and Lex Luger aswell That Ring looked awesome when I was younger, I only had the WWF ring that had a thing on it where you pressed the buttons and it had different commentary sayings on it, can't remember any of them for the life of me though. Also you used to get the exact same wrestlers but in different couloured outfits. I know at least 2 of my Stings were different and my Scott Steiners didn't have the same colours as the one in the pic.

The WCW ring had the cool red cages with it, I loved that as a kid. I got the WWF one later which had the cool little announce table at the side with the monitor on it.

The WCW ring had the cool red cages with it, I loved that as a kid. That was the reason I always wanted that ring, because at the time (in the uk anyways) there wasn't a WWF ring that had cages or anything. But my mum and dad wouldn't buy me it due to already having a perfectly good ring. Anyone remember the mini wrestlers from the late 90's, where you got a ring with 6 wrestlers. I believe there was a Royal Rumble, In Your House and Raw is War rings and then they brought out a few more. I always thought those were pretty sweet, except it was kinda limited the ammount of wrestlers there was.

I think i still have the ring and steel guard rails to it in storage, also the LOD shoulder pads (but no wrestlers now, which is weird.)

I have a fairly vivid memory of playing with one of those WCW rings at a friend's house, I must've been about six or seven. I also remember those mini sets, there were some weird ones too like an inferno match and a casket match, which had cartoony attachments. I remember the inferno match had this massive structure thing with it, and plastic fire, and the casket match had a plastic pile of earth, with a casket that none of the wrestlers actually fit in. I think my brother broke all that stuff, otherwise I'd try to get some photos.

I had two versions of The Giant from his WCW days. They both had "chokeslam action" that actually worked.
However...one of them was bundled with "powerbomb action" Kevin Nash (also worked like a charm), but this Giant had a huge neckbrace on, and the back of the box had the story of Nash nearly killing Wight.

As a kid I had 2 federations there was the WWF with all my hasbron figures and WCW with all my scattered batmans, ninja tutlres, spider man figures etc. Very rare the two brands would cross. I wnated everything to be very realistic lol. So have super mario taking on Bret wasnt exactly right in my young mind.
WHen WWF switched to the bone crusher style I was heartbroken my collection had to stop....I had to start all over!
But the worst figures would have to be the WWF bend ems.....theyy sucked.
