Some of my old classmates were talking about how wrestling was still cool before we went on to high school and one of the topics we sort of mentioned more was The American Badass. Some of my friends were diehard fans of the Phenom so it never went well with them. I liked his run as the badass since I saw, his heel run as Big Evil (with that chair to the throat), Last Ride was an awesome in my opinion, I'm not sure about this one but he had a lot more matches with Kane as his partner.
What were your opinions about Taker's second gimmick?

My absolute favorite Taker ever. The only one I gave a crap about. He was awesome in that run. No lame "undead powers" either.

I adored the Amercian Badbutt version of 'Taker. It's when he started mixing in some MMA-esque style of holds 'n crap, and that's something he still uses today, so that's nifty. Kinda wished he kept it a bit longer, though.

I like Big Evil Taker a lot, but it was time to return him to classic Taker, the fans wanted it.

My favorite. Wished he's stayed that way.

I didn't like the Badass Taker at first...but after awhile he began to grow on me...though I appreciate the Deadman Taker...more actually, but still, the Badass Taker did really grow on me after awhile, and I started to enjoy him a lot.
I was a bit upset when he cut his hair though. I was not a fan of short-haired Taker.

I loved Badass Taker. Easily Taker's best period in WWE. He could show more in terms of selling, expressions, mikework, submissions. I mean, would his reaction to Maven eliminating him have been possible if he was the zombie? No. He also had his greatest wrestlemania match during this time at WM 17 (HHH) as the biker. But, now he's returned to being the "Deadman" we get the same old crap every week.
Oh well. I'm going to go watch his ladder match with Hardy and remind myself of when Taker was at his best.

Couldn't stand Biker Taker. He was usually my least favorite part of WWE shows back then. Give me evil undead 'Taker or don't give me 'Taker at all. If it had been Biker Mark Caloway, then fine, but don't call him 'Taker with that gimmick.

Taker should just be the Taker. I know it had probably run it's course but with a gimmick like that you can't really do anything. You could change it to the American Badass, I guess, but it's silly that they reverted it.

It took me a while to adjust but I ended up marking for it. I'm glad it stopped when it did though, cos it was just starting to wear thin as a gimmick. My favourite Taker too would be pure evil '99-era Taker, with the Ministry. Class.

I hadn't realised how big of a hit he was to other fans.
Credit where it's due to people who liked the gimmick, although I was never a fan.
Ministry 'taker was his prime without doubt. The costume, theme tune, power, ability, character and main events.

Taker should talk, but rarely, and only when he is wishing evil on others. Hell he didn't talk at all when he first arrived, although it was more to do with the action back then, as opposed to storylines.
