source: f4w newsletter There has been talk of doing a Hulk Hogan vs. Great Khali match at WrestleMania. Khali would basically be replacing Big Show, who will not be at Mania. One source is saying that Show is about as close to being done as a person can be in this business where nobody ever retires. WWE has approached Hogan with two matches, one being against Khali and the other being against Shane McMahon. They're waiting to hear back from Hogan. so show's career is over for good.

Plus, isn't he about to give birth to that baby hippo that is in his stomach around that time too?

^^ I'm sad to hear that, but I'm glad he's out. Let him rest, relax and then do movies or something.

The Rock and Big Show in a classic comedy cop movie.
No scripts, just let the men work.

Well, he doesn't want to be Andre: Version 2. That is, I really don't think he wants to be remembered for stumbling around the ring, not being able to do many moves, and then losing to Hogan.

Bad enough to be hurt. Why go through THAT humiliation, too? Let him go without the eventual Hogan burial. Not everyone needs to be completely destroyed before they go.
And besides, Hogan would plant him so hard that he'd die on the way down, all 7,000 pounds of him. [/Hogan History Rewrite]

But think about the positive of it. Hogan will be more apt to go for the Khali match because he can have another "memorable big man" match at WM, the match will stink up and probably be booed worse than Brock-Goldberg and then the WWE will realize they shouldn't use Hogan for awhile

Are they sure Hogans gonna be capable of slamming Khali? homeboy can abrely walk these days, i guess they could put invisible wires on Khali.

Look at what they did to Lita on the way out. That can't be any fun to be in the middle of. And Jericho, too. Somehow, I don't think the indignity of a McMahon-sponsored-last-appearance is worth the monetary compensation.

The Rock and Big Show in a classic comedy cop movie. No scripts, just let the men work. Maybe remake that movie with Eddie Murphy, Stake Out and Another Stake Out. Or how about Gone Fishing?

If this is true, I give Big Show a lot of credit. So many wrestlers refuse to go away (Flair, Undertaker, Hogan, etc), but then you see someone like Show who's smart enough to leave on his own terms at a relatively young age, kind of like Jericho. I dont know how old he is but hes only been around for about 10 years.
I was just watching Royal Rumble 2000 on WWE 24/7 and to me its amazing how much Show improved over the last several years of his run.

The Rock and Big Show in a classic comedy cop movie. No scripts, just let the men work. Absolutely. Half the gag would be Show not fitting into Rock's smooth ride.

Not to mention he'd lose to the 50-something Hogan and be subjected to Hogan's revisionist history. For him, that's gotta be a major factor for him not going back.

I've been thinking. You know who they should have Hogan go up against at WM? Sylvester Stallone. Vince has been all about capitalizing on pop culture lately, and the latest Rocky movie has made Stallone a household name again. Stallone and Hogan have a history, what with Hogan appearing in Rocky III and Stallone inducting Hogan into the WWE Hall of Fame. I think that a Hogan/Stallone match would get the headlines and appeal that Vince craves.

The "kicking and screaming" part or the "jobbing to Cena in ways no one would buy" part?
