Why couldn't the Gymini have been released a few months ago before I had to watch them wrestle in a dark match before the SmackDown tapings?

Well, there have 5 releases from the WWE in the last 30 days:
Claudio Castagnoli Danny Doring The Gymini (The Shane Twins) Gangrel
So, this is a minor spring cleaning episode.

I seriously forgot they were still employed. Yeah, I always thought Gangrel got fired after his appearence on Smackdown with Vicera.

Gangrel - Awesome entrance, oh well.
Shane Twins - That's what you get for taking Michael Shane's name.

Wait, Claudio got released? Why in the hell did they even sign him if they were going to give up on him so quickly? Did they hire him because Heyman wanted him?

I didn't even know Gangrel was in the WWE.
The last I remember, he was brought out by JBL to taunt Undertaker, then magically disappeared.
Never paid attention to Gymini, so can't say happy or sad to see them go.

Gangrel is one of my favorite guys of all time. Why they didn't work him with Kevin Thorne is beyond me. Oh wait. They're incompetent. Never mind.
Although I'll admit if they did bring Gangrel up they'd just job him out. Shame.

I seriously forgot they were still employed. Yeah, I always thought Gangrel got fired after his appearence on Smackdown with Vicera. He was signed for a few months after that, but they literally did nothing with him and fired him. Then he was rehired in late 2005, did nothing, wrestled a little bit in Deep South recently, and now is fired again.

I can't believe they didn't use Gangrel. But then again, from what I heard about him returning without the vampire gimmick, maybe it;s for the best.
It's getting to the point where being let go from the WWE isn't the worse thing that could happen anymore.

Never paid attention to Gymini, so can't say happy or sad to see them go. Claudio was released because of issues with his green card. He wouldn't have been able to legally work for WWE, at the moment.

They were going to bring Gangrel, the vampire warrior, the former leader of the Brood, the guy who rose up through a ring of fire, the man who had fangs surgically attached to his teeth, back WITHOUT the vampire gimmick? Who writes this S*&$?!

I had heard he was going to undergo the same kind of gimmick change like Roadkill underwent (wrestling under his real name and being generic-fied) but I don't know if anything ever came of it, since I don't watch DSW and he was never brought back to the main shows.

So unless he didn't file income taxes (impossible), then he should still have it. But idle speculation is not going to get us to the truth of the matter

I'm guessing WWE didn't feel the need to pay White Wolf/Wizards of the Coast/Whoever owns the Vampire: The Masquerade liscense these days for the name "Gangrel", hence "David Heath"
Seriously though, just give him another name but keep the same gimmick. I'd still mark.
