OK now the Masterlock was broken in Iraq, and Chris Masters has a signed document from Vince McMahon nullifying it due to interference. Then Ron Simmons broke it due to more interference, and I am wondering if Chris will get that in writing too. This gave me an idea (maybe a bad one, but who cares).
They should finally just have someone break the Masterlock. I don't care who, just have someone break it outright with no interference or anything. Then have Chris Masters show up the following week with another legal document stating that the breaking of the hold was invalidated by Vince McMahon. The reasoning will then be something stupid. Like maybe the lighting in the arena from the previous week was not up to the local ordinance's code, and this gave him a severe disadvantage since he couldn't see. Then a few weeks later, someone will break it again. This time, Masters will get a signed document saying that this too was invalid, for another stupid reason. Like maybe it was too cold in the arena and he had a clause in his WWE contract that he is only obligated to complete in arenas between a certain temperature range.
Basically I am thinking of Chris Jericho during the height of his WCW run where he was famous for finding stupid loopholes in everything to get out of trouble.
I realize that this would turn Chris Masters into a joke character, but isn't he already kind of one?

But once the Masterlock is broken, what then? Either we get to see him get fired and go to TNA to do nothing, or we get him to wear a sombrero. It's a win-win!

But once the Masterlock is broken, what then? Then it's time for creative to come up with something new for this guy! It's character development. If this one gimmick is seriously all that Masters is capable of, then he is worthless in the long run.

How long before he gets only one sparkler shooting out of the floor? Or someone comes and repossesses his cape before he gets to toss it off of his shoulders? And they change his theme music to "Physical" by Olivia Newton John.

My idea? Snitsky breaks it by farting REALLY REALLY BAD and Masters has to let go and go vomit. Snitsky just grins sheepishly and claims innocence as he typically does

Damnit!

But once the Masterlock is broken, what then? He gets over based on merit and talent. ....or released. Whichever happens.

I hope he brings back the excuse from the Big Show Masterlock Challenge, where the guy was 'too greasy' and he couldn't get a solid grip.

I still want to know why no one has ever just reared back and kicked him in the jimmy to break the hold. It's not a "match", how can you be DQed? Has anyone ever tried this?

I'm convinced that Test is an alien -- with his horse teeth, barrel chest, bloated sixpack, short arms, nipples that point to the ground, and atrocious backne. Therefore, he can't help his backne. It's a trait of his people.

The Masterlock challenge works under the same rules as say, a submission match, but the challenger doesnt have to make Masters tap to win, he just has to break the submission. So DQs are still turned on, basically.

So DQs are still turned on, basically. I think you can turn DQs off in Options. Or at least turn the slider up for response time to Submission A moves. See, if Masters had a Submission B move, he'd win with it more often. Those things are a lot harder to escape from.
