I was watching a shoot where Elix Skipper came up, and the guy being interviewed said that Elix had such talent but wasted it all on adding more and more moves to his moveset and didn't work at all on how to make a match flow or how to cut a promo or get himself over as opposed to his moveset. It might have been Raven SotR vol 5. Maybe TNA wants to pare the X Division down to guys who can work short TV matches and have character, and they didn't see Diamonds in the Rough as anything more than jobbers, which aren't necessary on a 1-hour show built to sell a PPV.

I would think TNA would program MORE tag matches rather than less, it seems to be only way they could squeeze all their current roster into one-hour shows.

Elix Skipper is AWESOME. Hopefully the big 'E will pick him up if they're serious about restarting a Cruiserweight division. Heck, even if they don't I'd love to see him face Sabu, Rob Van Damn, Jeff Hardy, Sandman, CM Punk, Shelton Benjamin, and more.
