I went on his profile today on wikipedia and I was wondering if there's any truth to this. It's probably BS in my opinion since that site is usually unreliable.

i doubt he got aids when he was 19. that would be 1983, which means in 1998 when he was in the nWo in WCW he would have had it for 15 years. and did he look like a guy dying with AIDS in '98?

This is wiki BS, but even if it wasn't mean gossip it wouldn't be likely. You have to remember that in the early 1980's AIDS was just beginning to be diagnosed, and over half the people diagnosed before 1987 were dead by 1990.

HIV and AIDS are two different things. You can live a long time with HIV but if you had AIDS you could die from something as miniscule as the common cold. That being said, it could be true, but I doubt it. It's Wikipedia afterall.

There is in fact one guy in Scotland who was diagnosed with HIV in 1983 and is still around, it's possible but tricky--they think he's the record holder.

This is almost 99.9% untrue. Wrestling companies, especially the WWF and WCW, would screen for this right away, especially if they hired anyone in the late 80s early 90s.

Pretty much. It's bullshit because of the timeframe. In addition for him being in any condition to wrestle in his WWF tenure.

Magic Johnson was in elite shape and could afford the best medical care.

If Crush got AIDs it '83, theirs almost no way he'd be alive today. Especially with the grinding wrestling schedule.

HIV is different than aids. People can still function on HIV. Its when it goes over to full blown AIDS that people start to really break down.
