not for nothing, the entrance was kind of cool...minus the strings.

why was he called seven anyway? they say he was inspired off the villians from the movie dark city, but the villians in that movie had names like "mr. hand" and "mr. book", they werent named after numbers. it made no sense, lol.

Thanks for posting this! I never saw it either, though I've heard all about it. There are quite a few things from WCW's dying days that I never got to see, although i want to....

I love how he says, oh and my new name is Seven by the way.
And no he wasnt shooting. It was a work, they never intended to use the Seven gimmick.

Everyone who says Russo is saving TNA should be reminded of this.

Yeah, a vignette of him looking at a window of a little kid is very pedophilish.

I like how...nevermind. Didn't like anything about it, when it first happened or re-watching it now. It's crap like this that puzzles the mind about the 'creative' mind of Russo or anyone else who were in control of WCW in that period.
Oh, neat hat by the way.

Russo, actually, didn't come up with Seven. I think that it was come up with before he took over, and he squashed it when he got there.

One of the most unintentionally hilarious wrestling related moments for me ever. God, I remember laughing about this for weeks with a friend of mine, just making the promo WAY more ridiculous than it already was.

Seven would've been crap even if the gimmick wasn't killed by Dustin. A wrestler floating to the ring? Come on.

I remember when the promos started, looking at my college room mate and saying "so we're getting a chester the molester gimmick, the hell is this crap?". Then the "debut", and I was in tears laughing. First off, how much do you want to bet they spent on the entrance? I remember the crap Van Hammer entrrance he had for his debut cost roughly 25,000.
Second, Schiavone selling that hard, with his "and now, we have your attention". God, sometimes I miss the unintentional hilarity that was Tony.
