I wonder what the average rating for any show on MTV is? They show everything they have dozens of times a week, so it's not like people go "Damn I gotta watch it right now!" cuz they know it'll be on 4 hours later.

MTV probably will monitor the ratings for each showing of WSX on any of their networks. I thought this week's episode sucked compared to last week's show, though.

Maybe people are finally realizing what complete and utter garbage WSX is. Of course, I don't know the average rating for an MTV premier or whatever, so I could be wrong, but I hope not.

Here's where I can say "whatever, I don't give a crap about ratings, its an entertaining show anyway so all I hope is that they keep making more of it"

As cheap to produce as the whole thing was, I can't imagine them losing any money over this.

My guess is the dvd sales will be great so rating are more or less irrelevant. it has a bether shelf life than the rest of the guilty pleasures when have nothing bether to watch million dating shows like next, dismissed, date my mom and crap like that.

Bear in mind a few things.
A) How much does it cost to produce this show?
B) How much does it cost to simply air the show?
C) In MTV's data, do they see a trend where each replay of the show brings in different viewers than previous showings? For example, if the other night pulled a .5, and the replay pulls a, say, .4, how many of that .4 didn't watch the original broadcast, and are thus new targets for the advertisers to aim towards?
You have to answer those before you can tell if this is good, bad, or neutral.

MTV barely gets ratings above 1.0, unless its something like the music awards which usually does well for them. I think their average is around .7 or .8, so .5 is still low. If next week is lower, then its time for LOL@WSX

Since I have no clue how MTV's ratings work typically, I'll reserve laughing for later. But if this is bad, well that's what they get for offering it online much to my benefit.
