I bet E's won't hold a candle to this one from what I've already heard about it, I would like to see who all the E gets to tell the story

I don't see it being very good either. The only advantage it will have is having actual matches on it.
JR said on his blog that he encouraged the WWE to let both Kevin and Doris Von Erich tell their story.

I would like to see who all the E gets to tell the story Just going on who the 'E has a working relationship (on the roster or on good terms) with, it could have: - Kevin Von Erich
- Doris Adkisson
- Paul Bearer
- Steve Austin
- Mick Foley
- Undertaker
- Ric Flair
- Michael Hayes
- Paul Heyman
- Jim Ross
- Jerry Lawler
- Roddy Piper
- JBL
- Terry Funk
- Shawn Michaels
- Jimmy Garvin
- Jake Roberts
Just a few of those and maybe Bill Mercer, Skandar Akbar, and Gary Hart and it will be more than worth it, IMO.

After all the horror stories of how much bank Fritz scored after Daves death.... Fritz still left Dave with a strong legacy. Vince on the other hand totally compromised Eddies legacy w/ tasteless angles and storylines. With that being said, Vince makes Fritz look good. He sure didn't leave his other sons a strong legacy. Its hard to do that when they all commit suicide. Pro wrestling is not like the arts or music industry where suicide is romanticised.

Just finished watching the dvd and think it was the best documentary I have seen. It was really sad to see Kevin walk through the arena before they tore it down. Also the biggest if of the dvd was if Fritz would have just took his shows out of Texas, how big would have wccw gotten? The dvd did a really good job of talking about thier other big stars. After seeing Gino Hernandez on this video, there is no doubt he could have been a bigger star then he was if not for the drugs.

Not taking WCCW out of Dallas was stupid.

Fritz destroyed his family worse than Michael Corleone. Their lifestyles killed them not Fritz. They lived the same lifestyle as Gino Hernandez. Unless you want to blame his death on Fritz too.

I've not heard all the bad things Fritz allegedly did, I just watched it last nite and thought it was great, sad yes, but very well put together-I don't think the story could be told better

Not taking WCCW out of Dallas was stupid. They went out of Dallas quite regularly but, stuck to their territory. It's fantastic. Another very good DVD put out by the E This was made independent of WWE.

Fritz ignored his son's drug problems. He made excuses for their actions. He exploited David's death for money. He pushed his less-talented sons (Mike and Chris) to wrestle despite the fact that they weren't wrestler-material. He pushed Kerry into returning from a severe injury early, resulting in him losing his foot. I'm not going to put all the blame on Fritz because at the end of the day, everyone makes their own choices. But if Fritz had worried more about being a less about being a promoter, his sons might still be alive today.
The stuff I named didn't even include Fritz faking a heart attack in a desperate effort to gain sympathy and get fans to buy tickets.
