The nWo invasion.
ECW invading RAW for the first time.
Cactus Jack/Sting/Vader Era of WCW
Man I loved wrestling since I was a baby, and I love it even more now than I did back then.

-"Black Saturday", the night that TBS aired WWF shows instead of the NWA. Here I was, just getting into the NWA for about a month. (The first NWA show I remember was Black Bart beating Ron Garvin for the National Title with help from Baby Doll...no, they never said why she would help him out. Probably some crap about how she was getting at Garvin to screw with Dusty Rhodes.) Then one day, turn on the NWA...there's Ricky Steamboat & Jimmy Snuka in a tag team match against two scrubs. First, I wondered if Steamboat & Snuka jumped promotions. Then, I realized it was the WWF after all. Luckily for all of us, they got the NWA back on the air.

So many...
I never missed a Nitro from 95 - 99... I was obssessed as a kid.
* Hall coming out of the crowd that faithful night during the Mike Enos match * Hogan's heel turn.. being a devasted 11 year old kid afterwards. * Flair's return * The night Sting cleared out the nWo the first time. * Piper's WCW debut.
And outside of that.. * ECW on infomercial channels... staying up to 3AM to watch what I thought was "real" wrestling. * RVD winning the title

There are many moments that I'm so grateful for witnessing, but the one that stands out in my mind as a fan was the first Undertaker/ Kane/ Mankind fued.
Here you had three very mysterious characters during a kayfabe time in wrestling, all connected by the same man, Paul Bearer. You had the first Hell in the Cell, Inferno matches, Boiler room brawls, the infamous moment when Mankind fell through the cell, and a series of matches over an entire year of story development. From beginning to end the story was entertaining, and had you wanting more.
That feud also created greater matches and main events that shaped the Monday Night War/ Attitude era. It's what got me to watch again after a three year hiatus from wrestling, and I haven't stopped watching since.

The Monday Night Wars/Attitude Era And also: 1998 KOTR -- I was there live! WCW, especially when the nWo formed The final Nitro The pre-Attitude WWF. Yeah the characters were cartoonish, but when I was a little kid, that didn't matter to me.

I'm glad that I'm didn't miss out on ECW back when it was authentic.
I'm glad that I was a fan of wrestling back when guys like Bret Hart, Sting, and Vader were being promoted as the essence of wrestling (in contrast to what we have now, with crappy champions like Cena and JBL).
I'm glad that I was watching when Scott Hall appeared on WCW and started a war, ushering in the nWo in the process.

To see Diesel destroy everything in his path, being there in person when Mabel was crowned King and had a soda thrown right in his face during the ceremony, and playing Wrestlefest in the arcades while spending 10 dollars to get up to the L.O.D. Those were the days.
