LIVE SPOILERS FROM TNA IMPACT TAPINGS IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA

Richard Trionfo called in the following spoilers from tonight's TNA Impact taping in Orlando, Florida at Universal Studios:

Impact:

*NWA Tag Team champions LAX defeated Shark Boy and Norman Smiley. Team 3D appeared on the screens and challenged LAX to a "Belting Pot Match". Steve Schiripa from the Sopranos were with Team 3D.

*Team 3D defeated NWA Tag Team champions LAX in a "Belting Pot Match" (Lumberjacks with straps). The match was non-title.

*Scott Steiner does an in-ring promo. Kurt Angle comes out and they brawl. Christian Cage and Tomko come out and they take down Angle. Samoa Joe and several others make the save.

*Christian Cage cuts a promo about Scott Steiner and Tomko, saying he wants both to "do the right thing" in the Gauntlet for the Gold. Both of them say they want to win.

*Backstage, Ms. Brooks and Eric Young are with Robert Roode. Roode tells Young he's stupid and he better make sure Roode wins the Gauntlet.

*Gail Kim defeats Ms. Tennnessee in an Arm Wrestling match. James Storm attacks Kim. Petey Williams and Chris Harris make the save.

*They announce a ladder match to determine the top contender for the X-Division championship will take place next week with Senshi, Jerry Lynn, Austin Starr, Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt competing.

*Gauntlet for the Gold: The final three competitors were Samoa Joe, Tomko and Scott Steiner. Joe pinned Tomko to earn an NWA championship match at Christian Cage at the Destination X PPV in March.

*They filmed a Pros & Joes promo with Don West and former NFL star Andre Rison. Abyss comes out and hits Rison with the Black Hole Slam.

*AJ Styles comes out and the Elevation X structure and issues a challenge. Rhino accepts for an Elevation X Scaffold match.

*James Storm & Bobby Roode & Eric Young defeated VKM & Lance Hoyt. Harris and Storm battled after the bell.

*They hold a contract signing for Scott Steiner vs. Kurt Angle at Destination X. Also announced was Abyss vs. Sting. Angle and Steiner begin brawling. Christian Cage and Tomko come out. Angle is left laying in the ring

*Jerry Lynn wins the ladder match, earning a title shot at Chris Sabin, defeating Senshi, Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, and Austin Starr in the process. Bob Backlund came out during the match, putting Starr in the crossface chicken wing

Wow, and Joe is thrown into a title opportunity out of nowhere? I thought he was still doing stuff with Angle.

I'm sad that Christian's second title reign will be so much shorter than his first, but that said, it would be good to see Joe with something.

Kind of funny that a lot of us were complaining about hardly any matches on the shows, now we're getting a long ass gauntlet and a 5 way ladder match.

Maybe it's like a melting pot...with, uh, belts? Cause you know there's some diverse culture going on there. And maybe some betls. Or maybe they just said melting pot and it got lost in translation.

I love that 3D challenge LAX to a wacky stip match, but not for the next PPV...oh no, for RIGHT waxING NOW with NO BUILD. I'm just trying to imagine what kind of stip their next PPV match will have to have to trump the BELTING POT and match up to Elevation X...

Maybe a Pole Match of some sort...Ah! I have it!

The POLE VAULT. A ten-foot high "Border Fence" is set up in the parking lot. First team to pole vault over the fence and "Hop the Border" wins. LAX would win because, of course, they have much experience with Border Hopping. IT'S PERFECT!

Abyss vs Sting...AGAIN? Jesus Christ, MOVE ON. Like we need another month of Sting humiliating Abyss by exposing his stupid secrets and jumping poor old Jim Mitchell and claiming to be a crusading babyface the whole while.

I'm surprised they are using Elevation X for Styles/Rhino. Styles has completely dominated this feud, and the one time he lost he lost on purpose and ended up standing tall at the end anyway.

I am quite happy about Steiner/Angle though. I was hoping this was the first program they would do with Kurt when he arrived.

Lord knows we have to cram as many people into each and every episode as we possibly can, no matter how random it might seem!

Well, at least the Destination X card seems to be shaping up nicely. I'd prefer the Elevation X match be used for the X-Division, since from the photo it looks like they could do some crazy stuff with it. But the rules of the match are still to be determined anyway, so who knows.

Elevation X: AJ Syles vs Rhino

I wonder if Rhino will either

A) gore AJ off the scaffold at the PPV

or

B) try to gore AJ off the scaffold but miss and fall off, leading to AJ winning

that is obviously going to be the big spot of the match

That's because there wasn't a lot of matches on the show. These sound interesting, maybe it can start to look up for TNA with these tapings here.
