Watch it with a true mark.
My 8 year old son has developed an overnight (seemingly) fixation on all things wrestling..(reminds me of me when I was that age)..and we now watch all the shows together.
TNA, Smackdown, WSX..hell I watch RAW and ECW for the first time in a long time.
It's really fun to watch his non smark reaction to everything, to see what he disagrees with the IWC about (he loves Batista, Cena,)..and what he agrees with them about..(Somoa Joe, the original ECW, and Chris Benoit are awesome; not to mention him telling me that TNA has too much talking.
Seriously..try it sometime.
Helps you enjoy it for what it is and not overanalyse it all the time.

I dunno there's been posts around here where marks only make the frustration stronger. I have friends who are smart to it but only make time for wrestling when a pay per view comes out, which we end up watching at the theatre, where there are marks all around and the atmosphere makes it fun for you to enjoy it too.

But why would anyone be frustrated watching it with a non smark?
Also...he believes WSX is the greatest wrestling company known to man.

Because...they like John Cena..
EDIT: I mean not to be a downer or anything, just saying, look out, doesn't work for everyone.

^...everyone has a right to their own opinion. Just saying don't put words into others mouths. I don't have any true marks to watch it with but I don't overanalyze everything like the IWC. I enjoy it like it is but also wish it was better at times such as TNA talking and RAW talking. Plus I hate it when the awesome wrestling is always on a PPV when they can easily put a match or two every so often on free TV.

Seriously if anyone is by a theatre that plays wrestling PPVs it really is the next best way to watch them besides seeing it live IMO.

I'd agree with that. I showed my younger cousins the Dragon Gate 6-man from Supercard of Honour, and the Low Ki vs KENTA match, and they loved it! Especially the latter! "This is real wrestling", one of them said. It's always nice to see their reactions to certain spots and wrestlers.
They still think Mick Foley should be locked up after what he did to Randy Orton, though...

Yeah..my kid got pissed I was marking for LAX because they beat up Bubba Ray's uncle.
It's just a fun way to gauge the "other side" of wrestling fandom.

Not sure if that was the point but yea the last line sort of made me think you meant it that way. Sorry. Wow..there are people whose need to hate John Cena overrides relaxing and watching wrestling with people who disagree to gain a new perspective? Poor, sad, pathetic souls.

Of course a young mark will like Cena and WWE; they can't make a judgement based out of adequate experience.
Still, I'm glad that you're watching wrestling with this boy, rather than leaving it to him to get into wrestling (wrestling may be violent, but with proper parenting, I'm sure he'll turn out as well as you did).

I think it's just the fact he watches wrestling for (mostly) different reasons that I do.

My girlfriend wants to watch Chikara with me some time. It'll be really interesting to see it through her eyes.

I like watching with mark kids too, my goddaugther makes me laff so hard and she is adorable when watching, shes only two tho so she just likes some guys and hates others witougth even realising who is suposed to be a heel or a face storyline wise she just has this really primal reactions like wich music or atires are cooler or the signature moves.
Casual viewers that happen to be marks do make my day too, there is this chick that worked at a friend's video stand wich basically spent all day with wrestling in her monitors and hearing open discussion amongst wrestlers and smarks and still tougth it was real for a really long time. After a wile of working there she finally started to notice and would ask my friend if his matches are predetermined(hes a wrestler) so we just convinced her that WWE and AAA are riged but the rest are all real.
Grown up marks that do call themselve fans piss me off really bad, basically if you havent realised wrestling is fake by yourselve as an adult after watching for a while you are an idiot yet most of them act really smug because they suport the comon winers and use their flawed logic of "The guy I like is bether because he always wins, has the title, has won a bunch of masks, etc..."

i once watched with a mark friend of mine, and got the greatest quote ever.
"wow, wrestling now is boring. I miss the days of Bret Hart"

They show ppvs at theatres in Canada?!?! Holy crap, that's awesome!
If it wasn't for the polar bears, wolverines, penguins (cute, but they crap EVERYWHERE) and lack of indoor plumbing, Canada would be better than the U.S. in every way.

I watch it with my friends, we aren't smarks (we don't know that much other than Triple H had to do something with it). We just laugh at the funny moments like when Heidenreich screamed in a match "I DONT LIKE HIM, YOU CHEAT I WIN!".

My son is 5, and he loves wrestling... his favorites are Cena, Umaga, Batista, Edge, Carlito and RVD.
IN TNA, he likes Joe and Christian and oddly enough, LAX
