It could be worse, but right now it's not that good at all. I don't feel any urgency to see this Sunday's PPV, which there is no buzz over right now.

lmao. They are not turning a profit. Prove it. Well, since you're holding the TNA financial records, you prove they aren't. And they are. Panda Energy released the figures for the last year and they were in the black, starting to pay off the debt owed. First of all. I'm not sitting here spouting shit off like it's fact. If you're gonna bullshit us, prove it. Otherwise keep it shut. It's hard enough weeding fact through bullshit around here. I hate to break it to you but your opinion isn't fact. Prove it or shut up. I respectfully disagreed with you and asked you to prove it. Instead you decided to beat around the bush, furthering my belief that you are full of it.

Does WSX now get higher ratings than TNA? If so then TNA is effectively the no. 3 promotion. Maybe they should consider booking some actual wrestling matches on their show.

WSX is only 30 mins though, maybe not the best comparison with an hour-long. TNA needs to start consistently getting 1.5s (about ECW) before anyone can really they're "improving"

May I please see some proof that TNA is turning a profit? Until then, it's a rumor made up by TNA apologists who are trying to convince themselves that TNA is a threat, when the reality of the situation is they are competing more with WSX than they are with WWE.
It's also hard not to laugh at the fact that TNA has Sting, Angle, Jarrett, Christian (and whatever other established names I'm forgetting), have been around for 4 years, yet get about the same rating that a BRAND NEW wrestling series (seriously, I wont call it a fed) that features a bunch of nobodies and never have beens that is aired multiple times a week.
I watch TNA, enjoy roughly 20% of their product and would love to see them succeed. But let's be real honest and quit making excuses for them. The method they are using is failing.
They are capable and have the talent to turn things around, but it's time to cut the fat named Vince Russo and time to start pushing for that 2 hour TV slot. Spike WANTS to give it to them, but TNA hasn't proved that they WANT it.

They're turning a profit now, but they've amassed so much debt that they're still struggling to pay that off. So technically, since they're paying off debt with said profits, it could be argued that they really aren't turning a profit yet.

There's no way to verify whether TNA is turning a profit or not because, unlike WWE, it is a privately held company. That said, their TV ratings seem to be static rather than going upward, which makes it difficult to argue that their actually turning a profit. They've probably stopped bleeding red ink by now, though.

Indeed, TNA could be worse off, but I do agree that they need to make some serious changes...again. God, why can't mainstream wrestling produce at least one booker who can consistently write an all-around good product for more than a few months at a time? You can please some of the people some of the time, you can please all the people some of the time, but you can't fool the WWE fansplease all the people all the time.. I fail to see how WWE comes into this argument.

I don't know TNA's financial situation at the moment. Just need to know:
What is the average buyrate for their PPVs?
How much do they make at the gate? (In Orlando I thinks it's a whopping $0)
How much do they get in sponsorship money?
How much they make in merchandise sales including DVDs?
Now if we can find that out somehow we have to subtract the following:
How much do they owe?
The combined cost of the talents contracts?
If anyone knows the answers to these questions it would be greatly appreciated if you could post them.

I don't think we CAN get the answers, as a lot of them are private.
Suffice it to say, the addition of house shows to their menu, extended merchandising, and more advertising revenue means they're likely profitable, just not enough to erase all the debt they've amassed.
A) I'm not digging through any NEWZ sites for something like that.
B) TNA turning a profit has been reported more recently than TNA losing money; the onus is just as much on "losing money" to provide evidence.
