Since it's Russo, I'm surprised he didn't keep the truth gimmick, just so he could sign Jon Lovitz for a major feud.
80s SNL reference. I just can't take this promotion seriously.

Before anyone goes and yells "Rip on WWE!", let me give my thoughts.
Killings here doesn't seem to be ripping on John Cena alone(although he did show unappreciation to him), but almost every wrestler who has ever "gone Hollywood". The Rock, Hogan, Triple H, Edge, Roddy Piper, Kevin Nash, Christian Cage, etc. It seems to be a parody on all of them. Seriously, it does seem silly how most of the people who came from wrestling don't exactly become the next Tom Cruise, Nicholas Cage, Bruce Campbell or even an Anthony Sabato Jr. I hope it leads to a fued with Cage over his own Hollywood experiences(doign something with Clive Owen in Canada a few months ago), and Kevin Nash(Mr. Super Shredder, Mr. Russian, Mr 5 second cameo in Grandma's Boy,etc.)

"Hollywood" Ron Killings? Hmm I actually like that name not bad. All his moves should have to have something to do with LA.

Well "A Few Good Black Men" was a shot at The Marine for sure. I guess each week he can parody a different "gone hollywood" wrestler's movie.

So remind me again how this is supposed to make Ron so happy with TNA that he stays?
Oh right, it won't.

Can't wait for "The Black Scorpion King" "I am the ruler of Egypt, and I remember California in 1986, Stinger!"

Maybe he'll realize his movies flop since they aren't real.

I remember this gimmick. If he could get Mr. Fuji as a manager, then we got some gold on our hands.
This reminds me of Magnificent Muraco's Acting gimmick that he had in 85-86. Man they did some classic stuff.

Oh. My. God.
This is pure gold! If they can do it properly. Doesn't look like Ron Killings will be wrestling much though....
Still. At least he's on TV. Taking up time for other wrestling matches...
But it's still a damn good idea.

In a few weeks I'll be able to say "I used to like Ron Killings". Yeah, sadly me too. Put me down on that list too. That's TNA for you nowadays, with Russo at the helm. All I'm waiting for is the Dr.Claw version of Russo on TNA where he'd sit and all you'd see is his hand, lol.

It has to be said:
CAN THEY AFFORD TO PAY RON KILLINGS FOR THIS GIMMICK?
