Story lines are ok, but they have their limits. 26 minutes of stories and 8 minutes of wrestling (on a wrestling show mind you) goes way beyond my limit.

I didn't absolutely HATE it, I generally try to weed out the things I liked over things I didn't, and I just found it particularly hard with this one, I still love that Jerry Lynn is wrestling again(is there some reason why he stopped? I'm really hoping this isn't just a one time return for a while and then leave us again thing), the LAX/Dudleys thing may potentially renew my interest in the Dudleys, AJ/Christian dream team.
The bad stuff in TNA's case often ends up being hilarious, the consultant storyline is a gas, like, come on Kurt figure it out!

I like storyline, cause it builds characters and gives people a reason to order PPV, and gives purpose to the fights cause no one wants to see people fight each other for no damn reason. Well, not for long, anyway.
I thought the Sabin thing was done well, until the Depends, then it was stupid overkill. The LAX vid was cool, till Tenay and West kinda ruined it by shilling the 2 hour special. D-Von''s promo was cool, as well as Mitchell's. Also, the matches were entertaining, cause I'm not watching the clock for most of the match. If crap is entertaining, time is secondary.
Oh, and the Daniels vid ruled.

It wasn't the talkfest it was last week, but it could have been better.
Trust me, as half-baked as some of these plotlines are, they're still not as bad as some of the stuff the E's been cooking up lately.

all tell you what i really liked: two days after announcing he was leaving ring of honor, samoa joe competed in a "pay-per-view caliber" match that ended in an epic three-minute no contest. this is a wonderful sign of things to come for all of joe's fans.

No my point is if you wanted a 20 min samoa joe match you're going to have to pay for it(roh dvd, tna dvd, tna ppv, ect). It was always that way. Now that he's going to be tna only you'll have to give tna money insted of roh. It's roughy the same amount of money for the dvds anyway...

Bottom line the show was good. Wrestling 8 minutes? You're being too critical. There was far more than 8 min on the show. Once again they only have one hour. Lets watch the 2 hour show and see how much we get along with compelling stories

I honestly don't care how long the matches are, as long as they accomplish something and entertain me.
Granted, I haven't seen the last couple weeks of Impact, so I can't comment on those, specifically.
Now, on a pay per view or at a live show, I expect longer matches.
