That seals it. Mushnick is worse than Brent Bozell (of course, Bozell was forced to shut up via legal settlement, but still).
Can we believe Cornette in his assertion that the government prosecuting Vince for steroids was the result of Mushnicks' personal witch hunt?

His last name is fun to say. It's just ironic. Sam Muchnick: One of the greatest promoters of all time and the foundation of the NWA. Phil Muchnick: Crybaby who I'm surprised didn't blame Vince for Katrina or 9/11. Maybe that is the answer to the mystery. Maybe they were related and maybe Sam left stuff in his will to Vince and not Phil. Could have happened. I always wondered about that one myself. The first time i heard someone cursing the name Muchnik i was very confused.

Some observations:
1- Mushnick seems to call Trump a hypocrite for associating himself with the WWE, while also demanding a moral standard from the beauty queens. What this "journalist" apparently doesn't understand is that a beauty queen is usually expected to adhere to a certain code of conduct. WWE is not. It does not attempt in any way to present itself as a social model. It is merely a form of entertainment. As such, Trump is not a hypocrite.
2- He absurdly places the blame on WWE and Vince McMahon for wrestling related deaths. Apparently this guy has never heard of such a concept as "personal responsibilty". The guys who took steroids and such did so of their own accord. The guys who took recreational drugs did so of their own accord. Vince did not force them to do it.

To play devils advocate for a second; Maybe he didn't point a gun at anyone's head, but everyone knows that Vince likes big guys, he's hardly going to hand over the title to some pencil necked geek, is he? Vince hardly discourages steriod abuse, despite his lip service about the wellness program.
