I looked on Savage's wikipedia page and it doesn't explain why he and Vince McMahon don't get along. Obviously the Stephanie thing is a myth, so what is the real reason?

Reportedly, yes. However, I've no facts to support this theory. I'm not sure if many truly know. A little wrestling heresay, if you wheel. Notice Mach is nowhere near the HOF and that is neither beefy nor spicy.

Something between Vince and Savage. No clue what. I don't think it has to do with Steph. Something bad must of happened but we'll probaly never know.

Savage is prolly still mad from when McMahon made him an announcer on Monday Night Raw. That's why he left for WCW, so he could actually wrestle again.

I always thought it was Savage's insane money requests as to why he hasn't appeared for WWE.
But maybe with Hogan and Vince on the outs lately, Macho Man could sneak into the Hall of Fame this year. I really hope so, because WWE may have to wait until Savage dies before they put him into the HOF.

Vince has hated Savage ever since he left him high and dry (ala Lex Luger) and left for WCW without any kind of notice. Vince has never forgiven him for that

It makes no sense though. Dozens of guys who fell out of favor w/ Vince have come back, been inducted in the hall of fame, had legends figures made, etc.
Savage and Sammartino are the only two that have totally burned their bridges w/ Vince... and atleast Warrior had figures made.

I also heard it was because Savage still looks at himself as a main eventer and won't come back to do any hall of fame or legends apperences because he thinks of himself as a top guy.

Its the several reasons already listed and that I will list again: - Savage is bitter about being forced to announce instead of wrestle toward the end of his WWE run.
- He is also either extremely jealous of Hogan or hates Hogan for some reason only know to Savage, the stars, and Mars. Thus he refuses to work for anyone who has a relationship with Hogan.
- He still feels like he is a main event player and refuses to do anything less (HOF, DVDs, One off appearances).
- Vince is still upset that Savage bolted for WCW with no notice.
