This isn't an opinion. This is fact: UNDERTAKER WILL NOT LOSE HIS STREAK. Listen to this man. Folks, they do this every year. Every single year. WWE starts the rumor mill Undertaker will lose. And then he doesn't. And he won't this year either.

I think Taker SHOULD win the title at WM23 AND this match be his last one. He should win the belt, and then do his kneeling pose with it, have the ring fill up with smoke...and when it clears Taker is gone and the belt is laying in the middle of the ring. Have a well timed "Rest in Peace" sound out over the announce system. And thats the end of the Deadman's career.

Hold the event in Death Valley? But he's not even really from there.

I hope to dear God you are right. IF UNDERTAKER LOSES, I RIOT! He's just got too much say in what goes on, too many friends backstage, and too much respect from the bookers and Vince for it to happen. Granted, 'Taker has always been willing to put people over, but this streak is just too big apart of him to let go, I think. All he has to do is utter six words, "I don't wanna lose my streak", and it doesn't happen. Even if Vince or whoever refuses to let him go over, his phone will be ringing off the hook from wrestlers, crew, and executives complaining. It just won't happen. QFT The only one with more pull backstage than Taker is Trips, and he's going to be out for a few months. In all likelihood, Taker will win at WM so he can one last title run before retirement. He'll probably lose the title at SummerSlam, and have his last match at Survivor Series. (The very PPV event where he debuted.)

Of course he is. Everybody's heard of the famous Death Valley Memorial Colliseum. It's 2 miles down the road from Parts Unknown, I believe. I think it's 2 miles down the road from The Bottomless Pit, not Parts Unknown.

Here's another fact...you won't stop watching since quiting over a match would be quite petty. Also if Bats just happened to pick up the win, the ring will be filled with trash within seconds. they should've had wrestlemania in death valley this year, just to guarantee that JR: Bah Gawd King, this swirling sand just might slow down Cena enough for Michaels to gain the momentum!

The Undertaker as Champ would be refreshing too. Just think of the matches.....Chris Benoit, Rey Mysterio, move Edge to SD! and have them go at it, possibly have him defend against Kane as a mark of respect, Mr Kennedy, Finlay....
So as you can see the possibilities are endless.

Undertaker blows. I don't care if he keeps his streak or not, but it really irks me that someone would retire as champion. It's like "oh, no one can beat me anyway, so you guys go have a tournament for second best." If he loses his streak I don't care. If he wins the title, whatever. But he should lose the title before he retires.

I would agree that Taker should not retire as champion as it belittles the belt for whoever wins it following his retirement. However I also think he should retire with the streak intact.
I would be of the opinion that even in a business that is predetermined, to win every match at the biggest show of them all is a great achievement. It is the equivalent of winning an oscar every year....ok maybe Gonzalez didnt win best co star.
Arguements about backstage stroke I am sure will follow that comment - but I think the length of time involved and dominence displayed through the streak is now indicative of the character - and it is a major part of his legacy. To take that away in my opinion would be a mistake, especially to someone who I do not believe even remotely deserves it.

This is pro wrestling we're talking about, streaks are made only to be broken. Do you honestly think anyones oppinion of Taker would change if he lost one of his last matches at Mania? I really doubt it. It would be a perfect way to put a new guy over, to 'pass the torch' so to speak, so why not? That being said, by NO means should Batista be the one that get's that torch passed to him.

JR was saying on his blog that he didn't see Taker or Kane retiring anytime soon but what does he really know lol. Taker will win to keep the streak intact and retire down the road maybe at Survivor Series. And if he retired as the champ it wouldn't belittle the title, it's already lost respect with Rey Mysterio, and when Trish retired with the womens title, it actually gained some respect to me. Honestly there far worse things to make a title lose it's respect than the champ retiring with it.
