On the other hand......VINCE RUSSO writes the show now, so maybe ti was a good idea for them to not air a live show. What we would have seen, no joke.......VKM, plenty of anti-WWE stuff, more anti-WWE stuff, a bunch of lame skits and run ins, and 2 hours of russo style tv.......so I honestly think they did alright playing it safe and airing replays.
It speaks volumes about their product that, when given the chance, to strut their stuff, they were so confident in their product and stars that they ran a 2 hour infomercial instead of showing what they really had to offer.

So, what's this huge new match style they're gonna do at Turning Point?

So, what's this huge new match style they're gonna do at Turning Point? A scaffold match of some type, they announced who will participate in it at the TV tapings.

You know, I turned TNA on once out of curiosity and.. I dunno - there was just something lacking. Hear me out here.
It was a tag match - I don't know who the guys were, but the wrestling was GOOD, I won't deny that. But it was just TOO much, like, they were pulling out a million moves, flips off the top rope, outside the ring, double splashes - all that, and not one of these awesome moves were enough - the guys kept kicking out before the three count. Talk about unrealistic.
And do you know what ended the match? After 1000 BIG, BIG moves the guy couldn't kick out of that stupid trip/clothesline thing that Cade and Murdoch do.
So that was my TNA experience, other than the stupid skits from those VKM drug addicts I've seen on here.
I won't be going back anytime soon.

I thought it was okay. Could have been better to do an actual show though and get a good jump building storylines for Destination X. It would be interesting to see what ratings it pulled, to see if a new monday night war will start.

Won over? No. I like wrestling. It was not a good example of what TNA is supposed to be, BUT I could see people finding interest if they watched it.

I enjoyed a few of the matches but wasnt happy about Sting being on as many times as he was. Also I heard that the first Joe Angle match was the worst in the fued, and they showed that one which was a little suspect.
But I did really enjoy them showing all the celebs and legends that have showed up. When did Kurt Henning come to Tna?
The Ultimate X stuff was interesting, I just wish they would have showed one of those matches but I guess that wouldnt make sense since a ppv is coming up with that match on it. All in all I enjoyed it, did a good job of helping me in my missing raw depression.

If this is the best of thier PPV then I am glad I have saved my money.
Seriously, the show was not done right at all. First if I was an new fan who never watched TNA I would have thought that Jarrett was on tv right now and Christian was a face because it just came on with no introduction and Tenay and West announcing like it was live for the first 5 minutes then they gave the date the match happened on. Second, should have took the time to introduce most all thier stars and a little background not just a few. Third, like most I feel instead of replaying matches we knew what was going to happen showcase your talent with LIVE matches and show CLIPS of your PPV'S!

I've been watching TNA since the days of their old 'Xplosion!' recap show back when it was all you could see without getting the old weekly PPVs. I marked out like mad when I heard they were getting Hogan, but then pulled a bait and switch and gave us Jeff Hardy, who never really amounted to anything in TNA despite being a very good worker and having a lot of connection to the fans.
I was able to see a good number of TNA PPVs at a friend's place and so far I've enjoyed them. I also got the chance to see the King of the Mountain Match the day it was originally aired. VERY impressive stuff. (and remember, that was only a little under a year ago) TNA has come a long way from it's own days with a four sided ring.
If I were someone just tuning in to watch TNA for the first time last night, I would definately have been won over.
Also, to Juggalo/Hulkamaniac, LOVE the sig featuring two of my favorite senshi. Where'dja get it?

if raw was on id be really torn....do i want to see samoa joe vs styles vs daniels, or do i want to see john cena rap and hear the king wet himself at the sight of diva's....tuff choice, this thursday though both tna(live show) and raw will be on at the same time....it will probly take me all of 10 seconds to decide id rather watch a vkm skit then see victoria job to another brainless trained leech.

too much jarret, not enough X division, and the gimmicky ring probably won't win over alot of "new fans"..I liked seeing the ppv matches for free, but nothing ever lives up to the tenay hype.
I get the impression that tna is living to far in the future.no matter what is going on in the ring, tenay and west always seem to be yapping about WTF next ppv hype or whater.it's a little distracting...especially when you've been drinking.

I'm already a big TNA fan, so it didn't haveta do anything to win me over. I'm getting quite tired of sports entertainment and a bunch of fake bimbos "wrestling," so TNA is a welcome change. Finally, a wrestling show again.
