Makes sense to me, I don't know why they bothered making the ladder match in the first place without D & D even anywhere near it. Regal and Taylor have been on TV only sporadically in the last several weeks, and the last place Mercury probably wants to be is anywhere near a friggin' ladder. It's a pretty lame bait and switch, and I don't know why they didn't bother just replacing Regal & Taylor with D & D, but the match that's booked now still makes sense. Agreed. D/D beat Londrick cleanly several times...it made no sense for there not to be a title shot somewhere before WM if that's how they were going to book it. I know we're all disappointed to have the ladder match gone, but a gimmick match of that caliber seems strange to give away on a single brand PPV. It definitely seemed like something they would hold until WM...perhaps even build up storyline reasoning for Regal/Taylor to be a part of it rather than just tossing them in with the feuding Hardyz/MNM. There was no real reason for Londrick to be in there anyway...so maybe this will give creative some time to throw in some storyline logic...Doubtful, but one can hope. Also, I was talking with a friend of mine about how this might set a dangerous precedent for guys to simply (in kayfabe) walk up to Vince and demand a match, rather than doing anything really to warrent it. Anyone else think this strange?

people complain when unadvertised matches happen, and complain when advertised matches get changed. No to the first comment, and yes to the second one, I don't recall seeing anyone b**** and moan about the ladder match in December when it was announced, but yeah to replace a match that could be great and a show-stealer for a match that's not all that great,IMO, I'd complain, don't see why not. Honestly, I was going to order the show because I missed the last SD PPV and wanted to see the ladder match, but I'll just settle for getting it off of youtube or a live stream feed online. I don't hate Deuce/Domino, just that they aren't my cup of tea and wasn't that impressed with them to begin with, but they at least have a gimmick unlike KC James and the other guy.

I meant it in the sense that people were like "OMGs I would've bought Armageddon if they had actually advertised this match!!!! Stupid WWE!" though that was a justifiable complaint since it cost the E buyrates.

HAHAHAHAHA I love the IWC.... now that their ladder match that they've been salivating has been cancelled, the Deuce N Domino fetish abruptly STOPS. I don't care since I wasn't gonna order the PPV no matter what and I never jumped on the Deuce N Domino bandwagon. I don't remember ever fawning over Deuce/Domino, I've seen these guys since OVW last year and didn't really care for them at all. The gimmick is funny, but not enough to make me care to see them in a match. officialfan.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=WWE&action=display&thread=1169867443&page=1Eat crow, smarks.

I didn't vote. Could I perhaps... NOT eat crow?

I'm a bit lazy at the moment, could you show the part where I say these guys are great and I'm a huge fan of them, cause I don't recall that. Also, I love when smarks refer to other people as smarks, not realizing they are too smarks.

Sorry, but the person himself was saying he didn't remember sharing in the IWC love. So his comment is still correct. YOU EAT THE CROW! [/Olgethorpe]

I didn't vote. Could I perhaps... NOT eat crow? Well, considering that I'm arguing against the misconceived notion that these guys were never liked rather than whether or not individuals liked them, no.

Hell, I wasn't even that interested to the point that I didn't even bother to vote.
And I did decide to look into the thread, I didn't even comment on them one way or the other as I either forgot or didn't care to. Never said I was a big fan or that I hated them, just that I didn't like the matches with them vs. Londrick and I'm less inclined to want to see the PPV.

I just want it on the record that these guys jumped out of the gate and into the hearts of Wrestlecrap fans before some Vince McMahon-level revisionist history starts running wild.

It makes sense kayfabe wise, but after seeing their other 2 encounters, I'm not excited at all for this tag team match, Deuce/Domino are boring in the ring, good gimmick though. Good gimmick, you have to be joking. Their gimmick is crap. Anyway, I'm happy that they are in the match instead of The Bluebloods (who haven't been seen prominently on SmackDown for a while). As for the Hardyz and MNM, I have a question. Why is it that whenever WWE sees a weak PPV, they throw the Hardyz and MNM in a match on it? December to Dismember, Armageddon, Royal Rumble, all pretty weak looking shows. Let's have two overrated tag teams go at it AGAIN. The Hardy Boyz are stale. MNM is just dull. I'm happy that they aren't at the PPV.

The Hardy Boyz are stale. In your opinion, yes. But the majority of the crowds disagree with you and that's why they keep teaming them together. Also, I never realized people who have been in the business for 10+ years automatically become stale somehow.

That's your opinion and you are entitled to it, but I disagree,it stands out more and will be remembered a hell of a lot more than the "Teacher's Pet's" that were feuding with Londrick a few months ago who probably will be released from WWE in a short while.

I'm sure that just lost them 50K PPV buys. Ok so that might be a bit extreme but they just lost alot. D&D are awful. I mean... their finisher is Cade & Murdoch's finisher basically. I saw them on OVW once and thought they were the worst ever... then I found out a couple months later they were coming up. Boo.. and Cherry isn't that great looking...

Well, this is stupid. It is stupid to advertise a match for a PPV and then cancel it. It is stupid to give a tag team that hasn't been around that long to get a Tag Team Title shot so early. The only smart thing about this decision is taking Joey Mercury out of the match gave him a broken nose.

YES! This now allows for WWE to do a match I've been proposing since Armageddon at Wrestlemania!
Four-way tag team supremacy, TLC-style.
MNM vs. Londrick (Smackdown tag champs) vs. The Hardyz vs. Rated RKO (Raw tag champs once they get them back from Shawn + Cena)
It gives Edge and Randy something interesting to do that doesn't involve facing one another (and thereby turning one of them face - and if you were going to do so, you could do it in this match), it gives Nitro/Jeff Hardy something to do, and it gives Londrick a WM payday!
Only detraction is that you then couldn't do Money in the Bank, unless you made it a different stipulation match. But then doing another multi-participant match would just be lazy. But hey, it worked for WMXX.

Makes since to me(unless DandD win it), They should be saving the match for mania anyway. Throw in WGTT and RVD/Sabu as well. (although 6 teams could be to many people)
