CM Punk and Alex Shelley

Just been watching a few ROH/TNA DVD's and came to the conclusion that both Punk and Shelley have a bright future in the business....

In your opinion - who's future is brightest?

I must admit..... I'm erring towards Shelley.

Charisma and a great moveset does it for me.

I like Punk but you know I feel Shelley could be a bigger star. His moveset is phenominal and in my opinion he works better than Punk. I like CM's promos in ROH but Shelley has gotten alot better with the whole PCS segments and other work with Kevin Nash. I sort feel Alex is being wasted there. The last thing is the finishers I feel the Shellshock and the Border City Steretch are better than the Uranage and the Anaconda Vice. Also one more thing to add Shelley is younger.

I can see a lot of similarities between Alex Shelley and Chris Jericho so I can see big things for @lx

If both guys are allowed to be at their best, it's a dead heat for me. They've both great in different ways.

I'd say Punk. They're both more or less equal in terms of charisma, mic skill, in-ring quality, and in-ring personality...

But Punk kills Shelley in terms of working a more mainstream style. I could see Punk doing the sort of crazy comebacks and Five Moves of Doom stampedes that the very biggest stars have done, whereas I've yet to see Shelley work a main-event style like that. He may yet prove me wrong, though.

Punk has more experience and knows how to sell himself.

Shelley is an amazing wrestler who is having fun.

To me that makes Punk closer to someone like Austin. And Shelley like Chris Jericho.

Alex Shelley is way better at cutting a promo. In the ring, I think they're both pretty good. I voted for Shelley because he has wayyyyyyyyyyy more charisma than CM Punk.

Shelley's in-ring skills are fantastic. I feel a lot of that has been overshadowed lately to focus more on the PP/PCS/Kevin Nash skits to bring out his personality, but looking at his work in ROH and Japan always amazes me.

CM Punk. He's in the big leagues now, while Alex Shelley isn't on such a grand stage. I like both of these guys, Alex is more entertaining promo wise. Punk cut better promos in ROH.

Punk he's taller and wieghs more. Duh.

Punk I could see winning the ECW this year.

Shelley while awesome at the same time, is surprizing he hasnt won the X-Division title yet. But I dont think he'll be winning the NWA title anytime soon.

Alex Shelly is LOADED with charisma. Its not a question of if, but when he makes it to the E. And I hope he makes it huge.

One's overrated, the other isn't. The overrated one will eventually grow stale and the fans will turn on him. The other, assuming he'll continue on the path he is now, will only get better and better as time goes on.
