If he can do more, WWE should let him do more. Who really cares if it means he ends up looking better then Cena or Batista? Yes, I understand he'll never be about to do a 75 minute Iron Man Match with Samoa Joe like CM Punk can, but he's not Bastion Booger either, as some people here have said. He should have stayed on Smackdown, but Hayes wanted him off of that show, so off to ECW he went, where the fans weren't ever going to accept him no matter what.

No, I'm not saying he's an incredible worker, because he's probably not, but I don't think he should be the current IWC whipping boy, either.

If for that alone, get him off of the "Punk and Stoner Show" and back on Smackdown.

My dislike for Lashley came during last years Money in the Bank ladder match. I really think they should stick wrestlers in ladder matches that can make ladder matches...."ladder matches".

I don't think a big muscle bound guy like Lashley who ALWAYS looks like he's seconds away from crying should be allowed these matches.

Is it just me or were his legs all shaky while he climbed the ladder each time. He looked so terrified.

The issue for me is "where would he be without the roided build?". He isn't a bad worker, competent, but nothing special either and the personality is meh as meh gets.

Dude is a midcard power-guy, simple as that.

I have nothing against roided up monsters in wrestling.

I do have a problem with roided up monsters who lack charisma or wrestling skills or both (See Tyson Tomko)

Lashley is like Hercules in the 80s. Sure useful to have on the roster but you wouldn't make him champion.

I don't hate Lashley, but they are pushing him as a star, when he's simply not up to it.

I would suggest they play on his military background and let him use that as a gimmick, but as a killer heel, with a mouthpiece manager.

Bingo. No Lashley hate here but he's NOT a star and he's NOT over enough as a face and if he turned heel, he could be VERY effective!

I love Lashley who didn't have to cut promos in order succeed on the midcard. He was awesome. And they actually bothered to have him use a couple moves from his amateur wrestling background.

But now? No. He's just another musclehead.

However, if they put him with a bombastic mouthpiece and team him up with Test as a couple of jacked-up monsters, then my love will return.

I didn't read the whole thing, and usually when it comes to hate threads, I tend to be the one defending people, lol. And I'll also defend, and well, you'll see what I mean.

Bobby Lashley is a good wrestler. No, scratch that. He's a great wrestler. Bobby Lashley for his size can move with the best of them. He can out power many of his opponents, and out wrestle some of them too. When he first started, people drew comparisons to Brock Lesnar due to his look and his style of wrestling. They even have him enter the ring like Brock did.

The main thing lacking was mic skills, and was given the moniker of "Hard Hitting and Soft Spoken". And I felt that was a good thing for him. Because Lashley literally has a babyface. Lashley is just a good guy looking to wrestle. He had a tremendous feud, probably one of the best feuds of last year against Finlay, and had tremendous matches. Got extremely lucky in his short career. He started in OVW under the training of Lance Storm, which already says that he's gonna be something with that training. Then he got to be in feuds with great veterns like William Regal, Finlay and King Booker. He had a short run as US Champion, mostly because of illness. I felt Lashley should have held the belt for longer, I thought it would have been a good reign.

And if I could jump around a bit to the "Hard Hitting and Soft Spoken" gimmick, it makes for a great babyface gimmick. He's just a humble guy, generally nice, generally respectful, and when Lashley is set off and is actually angry, then you know something pissed him off.

Lashley though is suffering from too much too soon. Lashley cannot be a good Champion not because he's bad. It's because he doesn't have the experience. He doesn't have mic experience, but he can still learn it. But they just threw the belt on him so quickly and they are shoving him down people's throats as a legit main eventer, when he's not. I thought he would be in a few years, but my god, he was only in the WWE for a year, and hasn't even been pro that long. So no matter how good Lashley is now, he's not Championship material based on the fact that he doesn't have that much experience.

And it's not like it's Lashley's fault. If someone goes up to Lashley and says, "we're making you ECW Champion", what do you think he's gonna say?
