Wonder how long before Shane Mac shows up and takes over the role as new evil owner of ECW.

Isn't that the usual numbers for ECW(with the exception of last week)?

Actually, the last number I can remember is 1.5, so it is down. Then again, I'm not a great follower of WWECW.

Let's review what could possibly be the problem, shall we?
Vince on tv doing a rehash of every feud he's ever done? Got that.
Having a black hole of charisma as champ? Got that.
Making it obvious that the most popular guy ever in the brand (RVD) is gonna get screwed/squashed? Got that.
Putting the most popular guy in the brand currently on tv in a hot angle. Nope, CM Punk wasn't even on tv this week.
Immediately injecting a Heat washout into a feud with the unover champion? As much as I like Snitsky, got that.
Huh, wonder why the ratings are down. I thought Vince was supposed to be a genius.

fear not, for WWECW viewers knew not that the Snitsky would be appearing, so next week expect ratings to be somewhere around the 4.0 mark

...down in a big way from last week's stronger 1.7 rating, despite Vince McMahon appearing at the top of the show. Despite, or because of?

"despite Vince McMahon appearing at the top of the show"So Vince thought the show would be a smash because he was on it?

I dont get it... ECW has Bobby Lashley as a champ... Matt Striker doing guest spots as the referee... Matt Striker doing guest time keeping.... and I mean, hell... what else do they need? I am satisifed...

Oh Big Show, where art thou? never thought id say this, but i miss big show as champ. At least he brought legitmacy to the belt. As much as his reign sucked (to some), it was still a more popular title and brand.

I know I'm probably not an internet elite but I thought Show VS RVD was a great match. I give it 2 thumbs up.

I thought Vince was supposed to be a genius. You have slamdunked the correct, agree on all counts. I still can't believe they had freaking Holly go-over-clean on Punk and RVD so he can do a meaningless job on free-tv that made-way for freaking Snitsky. Nice job there brain-trust.
