People really need to go back to see Hogan, your fooling yourselves, or just take a look at WMX8.
Steiner, when the sirens hit would get a nice pop, even during his horrible WWE run.

I liked the Undertakers pop when he returned at Judgement Day in 2001.
The Music starts and the crowd is confused and then suddenly out he comes on a huge motorbike, to an insane pop. then goes on and demolish the DXMcMahon faction. Ah fun times.

I agree but this particular moment was special. Hart rarely got the same pop as Hogan or Austin did. Speaking of Hogan, WMX8 is a special occasion too. |

I've only seen one person mention it, but Chris Benoit consistantly gets the biggest face pops when his music plays. I think he is the most over midcarder today in WWE, marks, smarks, whatever. The dude is over.

Hogan, Austin, Rock, Warrior (WWF), Goldberg (WCW), Triple H (2002 return), Undertaker....
Those are probably the biggest based on theme music. One thing they all have in common is a memorable opening sound. Austin had the glass breaking, Rock had "if ya smell", Hogan had the loud opening cord, Taker had/has the gong, etc. The WWE seems to be shying away from that now.
