I'm in the uk aswell. If you pay for sky sports then i am sure that wwe gets money from sky for the brodcast rights which comes from the money you pay for your sky subscription. So wwe is getting some of your money! It is annoying when the 6 ppv's a year turn up on box office (we are so used to getting them on sky sports over here!) Ive only ever recorded on to vhs before does anyone record the ppvs' on to a dvd recorder? Are the box office ppv's scrambled when you try and record? I think only movies are scrambled when taped I've never had trouble recording sport events

Well, I videotape the PPV events we get on Sky Sports, and, for those on Sky Box Office, buy the official DVD when they come out (I've been having trouble with my PPV capabilities for the past year).
And the Smackdown! game.

Interesting topic...
Here's my averege yearly WWE expenditures...
- $50 for ordering WM - $15 for paying $5 cover for 3 other PPV's (I live close to a "blast area" store that orders the PPV's and charges $5 per person) - $25 for at least 1 T-shirt a year - $150 for attending 2 live events (based on average $25 ticket price X 2 tickets each time X 2 events coming around the western NY area) - $100 for DVD's throughout the year Total average annual WWE expense - $340 Total average monthly WWE expense - $28
That means I roughly spend the same on WWE on a monthly basis as I do on my water bill. I'll be spending a bit more this year since I'll be attending WM in Detroit and ticket prices aren't a measley $25 each.

for myself, I spend probably 15 bucks total. I get the SmackDown game(s) for either my bday or Xmas, when there's a PPV that my friends really want to see, they mostly pay it and I give the cash to my brother in law. BUT, if they want to watch it at there house, then I have to give 5 bucks. Sometimes 10 if we want to get some food. lol Edit: But if you want to calculate the amount that I take out of my own pocket, then the amount of money I spend on WWE stuff is $0.00. Thank you mommy

Slim to none.
Outside of a few shirts and DVDs over the years, I don't spend much at all on WWE.

On WWE? Dunno. Probably the cost of as many DVD's as I can afford, and that's about it. TNA and Chikara get most of my cash.

Been addicted since I was 6 months old. Every year the addiction gets worse and worse. And even through all the so called "bad times" I still watch every week and shill out my hard earned money to have more and more wrestling stuff. This is definetly an addiction I'll have for the rest of my life, but I'm loving it so yes wrestling does bring joy to my heart.

Just look at my (current) user name
Ticket will be around $55, and if I don't like that seat, I'm going to try to get a better one from eBay.

Lets see.
Royal Rumble, Summerslam, and I'll overestimate and say two other PPVs a year = 160 dollars, plus Wrestlemania, so 210 dollars in PPVs
Off the top of my head, this year I bought the Hart, Piper, Hogan, Bloodsport, ONS2, and Wrestlemania DVDs. we'll say those are 20 dollars each. 120 dollars in DVDs.
One ticket to a Supershow... 70 dollars.
So, overall, approximately 400 dollars a year goes to WWE. Hell, let's keep going.
12 TNA PPVs a year = 360 dollars ticket to two live events at the ECW arena = 240 dollars (120 a piece) (I THINK it was 120, anyway, if not it was 150) ...so TNA got 600 dollars out of me, and overall I spent 1000 dollars on wrestling. Hot damn.
