There are 5 originals in the group and only 4 new breed guys.
I would love to see the originals getting beat up and then CM Punk run down to make the save only to attack the originals.
Then he can rant and rave about how they're all drug addicts and drunks and talk about how he's better than them.
I think that would add to the story and if RVD is really on his way out, jobbing to CM Punk would be a good way to go out.

I was thinking that too, but of course it makes sence. So expect the fifth man to be... Test.

Possible choices:
Bobby Lashley - A heel turn is not gonna happen, but would be kinda cool. CM Punk - Would be awesome, but he's ECW biggest babyface, so lets not get our hopes up. Hardcore Holly - If Snitsky fueds with Lashley, then Bob will have nothing to do. Why not have RVD job to him some more. Little Guido - Yeah right, plus he's an original. Mike Knox - Makes sence. he hasnt been seen in weeks, so why not. Reene Dupree - Sure, as long as we dont have to see him in a towel. Shannon Moore - Just no. Snitsky - looks to be busy with Lashley. Steven Richards - Would be a great trader, but WWE doesnt know he's under contract. Test - He has nothing eles to do, plus the group does need a "mainevent" leader.

Technically Stevie already defected to the new breed when he ran in on some match but damn it I forget what it was. All I know is the next week Kevin Thorn helped him beat Balls Mahoney.

I'd love to see a crazed Stevie run out one night and assault, say, Tommy Dreamer, for never trying to include him in the group of "Originals"

This could be the feud to save WWECW. Its a great opportunity to elevate Punk. So hopefully they do it. Either have him back the OGs or have him turn heel. Either way, they can't lose.

Yeah, that was at the 9/11 MSG taping, he just laid down for like 10 minutes after one movie while thorne easily escaped.

If RVD is really quitting, then it'll be 4 vs 4 soon.

I've come to the conclusion, since we all love it, it won't happen.
On an unrelated note, ho do you think should be the leader of the originals. The New Breed have Mr. McMahon. Personally I would like to see Paul Heyman but i think it will be Mick Foley since there is the rumored McMahon Vs. Foley Wrestlemania match and he has the new book coming out and it would be an easy way to get him back onto TV.
even though he hated ECW last year.

If RVD is really quitting, then it'll be 4 vs 4 soon. From what I've heard his contract is until the summer. Which would give ample time to do the 5 on 5 and then maybe a 1 on 1 job to Punk at One Night Stand.

I love how every ECW thread ever is 'how can we put Punk in this storyline?'

I love how every ECW thread ever is 'how can we put Punk in this storyline?' Well, he is the top face that isn't currently in a storyline and he's the only new breed guy that isn't a heel so it only makes sense for him to be in this storyline.

I love how every ECW thread ever is 'how can we put Punk in this storyline?' Well, just about the entire roster is involved. Why shouldn't he? He's one of the bigger parts of the new ECW.

I don't see Punk becoming involved here. If there is a money in the bank match, it looks like Punk and/or Test will be the ECW representitives. Since they're the only two guys in ECW who aren't doing anything (excluding people who haven't appeared in months and jobbers).
