I'm still confused for everything except the RAW Bowl.

I believe on Championship Friday in 9/96 Michaels defended his title against Goldust. This was leading up to IYH: Mind Games where HBK would be defending against Mankind. Since Mankind and Goldust were allies at the time Mankind came out and tried to attack HBK after he won the match. I don't remember the rest of the card, but I'm pretty sure it was just a slightly above average Raw that aired on Friday due to some sort of preemption. I think I have it on tape somewhere...

Wouldn't calling it "Championship Friday" be a bit of a spoiler?

My brother, Uncle and I made fun of the Thursday Raw Thursday name for months after it aired.
and I'm sure we're going to bring it up next Thursday when Raw is on.

Thanks for recaps of the shows. Does anyone know why RAW was pre-empted these times?

Raw Bowl was so over the top and ridiculous. King and Vince were making football puns the whole time (especially involving Goldust wanting to spike the ball in Razor's end zone).
Each team had time outs they could use in the match as well.
And of course, the winners got the Steve Lombardi trophy.
