It seems like they are trying to improve their product already. Vince is getting involved and they moved Dusty Rhodes from Smackdown to ECW to help the writing team out. I like the way things are looking for ECW.

WSX's Tuesday airing wasn't very far behind ECW in the ratings, so they are certainly competition.
Though I suppose they could take a huge nosedive in the ratings this week, now that people saw the first episode and decided it sucks. Or if more people have figured out that they debut the episode on Friday and then just replay it on Tuesday

losing RVD and eventually Sabu will be a huge loss tho, they need to move Benoit or Edge to ECW after Mania to make up for the loss

Not really, you only get to see ECW once, if WSX is like any other MTV show, expect to see it 100 times.

Benoit I could see in ECW, especially if they want it to be a "developmental" brand - he could be used to put the newcomers through their paces and such.
Edge? No F'N way. He's the top heel on Raw. Anything less is a huge step down.

Vince getting involved is not going to improve the product.

Vince getting involved is not going to improve the product. True. Even after watching the preview of the first episode of WSX, knowing that Vince was going to waste time on ECW didn't keep me from turning it to MTV and watch WSX again. This week is the same thing. I watched the preview (I don't know why MTV insists on calling it that) on Friday (or was it Thursday?) and I intend to watch it again tonight if ECW fails to entertain (which it almost certainly will).

I've always thought of Edge as a company man. The type of person that would do whatever is asked of him to help the product. I'd pesonally love to see him on ECW brand, it would go a long ways in making the brand something special. Also. It would be a nice move if they brought in Foley as a GM of sorts for the brand.
