Best way to get over midcard faces:
Have them face a midcard heel that gets lots of cheers from the crowd....
It's the midcard version of Cena/Jericho, I guess since it worked so well back then...lets try it one more time!

Yeah, I'm not thinking this will work out well.

Nobody will ever boo Ric Flair at this point in his career. Too many people respect him.
Pretty much anything heelish that he does, now, will get cheers, just because he's being Ric Flair.

Fans won't boo Flair. And if they'll boo him it will be just because it's "fun". At this stage of his career, I don't think Flair really needs an alignment or a feud... or being involved in matches for that matter

Ric Flair just needs to give it up. I won't like him as a heel, face, on a boat or as a goat.

He's too Legend to turn heel, simple as that.

Booing or not, Flair sucks as a face. Aways has always will. Good for him if he turns heel.

If he cheated to beat Jeff Hardy for the belt, everyone who's a guy past the age of 25 will be very happy.
Women and little marks who have no idea of Flair's previous skill? They'll be sad pandas.

Well if they insist on still using him, this would make him more interesting. So why not.

Flair has has so many face/heel turns over these past 5 years that it's not a big deal to me anymore.

They'll be sad pandas. ...you know, as a 20 year old who knows about Flair's previous skill (hell the first match I ever watched was Savage vs. Flair), I am cut deeply by your comments. Also I am cut deeply by being grouped with women and mark kids just because I (oh shock and awe) happen to like the run Jeff's had with the belt because he's had a damn good feud with Nitro and defended against numerous wrestlers. I think somebody's a bit bitter that Gerwitz decided to use his brain for once and cast Khali as somebody who doesn't quite grasp the rules of wrestling, much less care. And in theory maybe that's for the best, him being just a powerful monster who will decimate people but can't really advance beyond that. ...wow i went everywhere with that rant.

And besides, I hope WWE won't be SO stupid to job Jeff Hardy, who's been surprisingly good IMO since his return, and who's actually over and getting a nice push, to a 60 years old Legend who doesn't need a title to get cheered.

Ric Flair just needs to give it up. I won't like him as a heel, face, on a boat or as a goat. You will not like him here or there, you will not like Flair anywhere
