Vince's "If I didn't create it, it's not getting pushed" mentality definitely had a lot to do with it. Bingo. After seeing what he did with Vader, I cringe to think of what Vince would do if he ever did get Sting under contract.

Boy meets world killed his mystique. He jobbed to feeny Remember the episode where Vader was wrestling Jake Roberts and Cory and Shawn had to go back and forth between the arena and Topanga's party because they had to be in two places at once. The story was, they had to be at the match in order to give Vader tips (apparently he couldnt figure out how to beat a washed up Jake Roberts) on how to win the match (as if wrestling was real and not scripted) It was totally ridiculous, especially considering what happened a year later with Vader in Kuwait when asked if wrestling was fake

Possibly coming down from the rafters.

Vader was the man in WCW. A true monster. I knew wrestling was fake, but Vader is one of the guys that really intimidated me.

Vader didnt make it in WWE the same reason Raven didnt.....only certain people have the right direction on where their characters can go....WWE had no idea what to do with Vader after 96....and he wasnt really a threat anymore after his program with Michaels ended

I'm surprised they never did anything w/ Vader after the incident in Kuwait. All I remember is Lawler holding up a Vader figure in package w/ jail bars drawn on it. They should of pushed him as an unpredictable monster but instead it was an excuse for Lawler to exibit some of his artistic talent.

My, Godz is quite the Vader aficionado. The REAL he didn't do so well? No elephant mask.
