www.youtube.com/watch?v=hc6vHBIZ1WcI was looking for the Undertaker's debut as "The American badass" when I came across this video. It's similar to the Kid Rock one, but the chorus to the song has the effect of making the video extremely sad. While they're showing clips of WWF guys who are no longer wrestling, moves that haven't been done in years, and absolutely classic moments, the chorus is "Can you take it all away?"

If that 5 minute video represents 39 years of WWF, then almost a year has been taken up by women striping
I did the maths

god damn! so many memories! I'm man enough to admit I almost got a little misty eyed during that video!
Slightly off topic, but I absolutely LOVED late 2001-early 2002, which looks like when this was made. Those few months between the lame InVasion angle and the even lamer brand-split/ name change were just gold, because all my friends and I did was wonder, "what's next? where do they go now?" man, if only we knew then...

The video was good, but I liked it in its original form. Right before the nWo arrived, Flair showed most of the clips in this video, mainly in chronological order to a Kid Rock song. It was supposed to convince Vince not to bring them in. Pretty much the same vid, but there's a really slow/quiet breakdown that had clips of the nWo, Madusa throwing the women's belt in the trash and the Montreal Screwjob over it.
The four clips of Snuka diving off the cage, Macho hitting the elbow at WM 3, HBK splashing Razor off the ladder and Jeff doing a swanton bomb off the ladder were amazing to see in order like that.

Seemed so very cool before it actually happened huh? I can't say how effective it was to see the nWo logo painted over Vince Sr.

That video reminded me of why I became a wrestling fan in the first place. Damm I loved that video. It also made me almost want to cry when you compare the many instances featured in that video to the complete and total crap we get these days.
On one hand, I feel I am very privileged to have grown up during the time when many of those clips actually happened. On the other hand, it depresses me to think of all the outstanding things in the WWF that we'll never see in the WWE.
Hogan Slamming Andre, Savage's WM 4 match with the Million Dollar Man, The Hardys/Edge and Christian/Dudleys TLC matches, the original Mankind/Undertaker feud, Austin 3:16, The Rock as the people's champ, Kurt Angle and his outstanding feud with Chris Benoit, the original DX, and much much more.
I'm proud to have witnessed such moments, but depressed that such things will never likely come again.
