Yeah you totally should upload it. Also, yes Patriot won a 20 man battle royal, last eliminating.....The Sultan. This kind of got going his push to face Bret

Definitely upload it. I seem to remember that. Patriot was pretty cool I loved his theme music which would go to someone else eventually except it had more "You sucks"! Also in the episode you have, does the crowd chant"Die Rocky Die" in his match? I really hope so, although I id like The Rock I hated Rocky Maivia more than John Cena!

I have the 2nd episode of Shotgun on my computer, I could try to upload it to Daily Motion or something. It contains: Fake Razor vs. Rocky Maivia Fake Diesel vs. Marc Mero Faarooq vs. Savio Vega Furnas & LaFon vs. Headbangers And also: Fondle Me Elmo Pettingill finds homeless Nikolai Pettingill/Honkey Tonk Man Duet So much action in one small hour I also recall it having the WWF logo in the bottom left with a badge around it... pretty cool and different at the time. OH MY GOD. I love you. Why not upload it to some file-sharing site instead of DailyMotion, that way people can download it as well as watching it. (For example, MegaUpload). It'd take the same amount of time to upload as if you uploaded it to DailyMotion. Thanks a lot in advance.

OK, so I this isn't from the "oh so amazing" nightclub shows, but I do remember in 1997 and into 98 it definitely wasn't a jobber show, with battle royals that gave IC title shots (which the Rock used to win one) and progressions of major feuds. Don't hate on non-nightclub Shotgun! It was a little bit of both. It was squash matches, but also featured low-card/mid-card performers. Similar to WWF Superstars from the old days. Some non-nightclub moments that stand out to me: * Furnas-Lafon vs. The Hardy Boyz. This was before the Hardyz became big, but they definitely showed their bumping ability in this match. I remember posters on the AOL wrestling boards were comparing Matt to Bret and Jeff to Shawn (10 years later and both comparisons look garbage). * Nation of Domination squash match. Excuse the hyperbole, but the most entertaining squash match in the history of the business. Rock, D-Lo, Godfather, and Henry. Just a fun match all the way around. Wish I taped that. Exibit A of how squash matches still have a place in wrestling.

And if you decide to go with the Megaupload option, don't post the link here. Take it to PM.

Meh, I preferred Club Shotgun. The atmosphere of the nightclubs were better. It was different than anything else they were putting out at the time. It was their version of ECW, I guess. Other than that, I didn't find it that great. Then again, I'm a WWF Superstars fan and loved the squash matches that featured the talent, so the non-nightclub shows were great for me.

I tried doing the DailyMotion thing already but I kept getting an error. I'll do the MegaUpload thing in a few minutes and post again whenever it's done.
EDIT... And we're uploading. I'll post back when it's finished. Anyone who wants a copy of the file just PM me.

In Mick Foley's book, i remember on one edition on Shotgun in early '97, Terry Funk went on a rant and used a swear word, insulted Vince i think. Then he got sacked. Nice to see this on youtube. you meant this clip www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFo94kbgEwI

It has everything : the edgier feel, the smaller ring, the bar atmosphere, etc.

I'd like a link too please. I missed out on Shotgun as I didn't get here until it became jobber fodder.
