So far, Austin/Bret is a bit overrated for me. I don't blame it for the wrestlers, but for the ref in that match...if Shamrock put more psychology into it, the match would have reached the infamous ******.

I think the iron man match is the obvious choice, however it was not that bad. The main issue with it was they decided to make it a no score draw - had it been 2-2 or something that would have kept the crowd interested. I did like the finish - and Bret's strop at the end always makes me laugh. Right. A fall or two exchanged by Hart and Michaels would have made it more interesting and justified the Iron Man rules. As it is, it's a strangly-paced match. There's one stretch toward the end where Bret dominates for about 17 minutes straight.

Way to comment on something you obviously weren't around for, therefore unable to fully understand exactly how big that match was and what it meant to the industry at the time. No one has EVER claimed it be a mat classic or even a "good" match. That's not what it was about. Not even close. Agreed. My biggest pet peeve about wrestling fans is their inability to keep their mouth shut when it relates to something they weren't around (or alive) to see. I wasn't around in the '70's, so I don't comment on it. I never saw the NWA, so I don't comment on it. Yet we have teenage smarks on here commenting on things that happened 5 years before they were even fetus's. Well I will say one thing I was born in 87 yet I have made it a point to make sure I watch stuff from the 80s whenever I can just to know where the business was and where it has come today. But if I dont know something I wont comment on it. But getting back on topic most overrated Mania Match. Lesnar vs Goldberg oh wait that sucked Owen Hart vs Skinner oh wait that sucked too how about Candice vs Torrie? no no no wait that sucked too id say Ironman Match- Shawn and Bret....the ending was fun but the rest of the match is just boring. The only other good spots are when Chimmal gets superkicked. Shawn dives from the top rope onto Bret on the outside. And when Shawn got back dropped out taking out the camera man. Everything else wasnt bad just boring, until id say the last 10 minutes

I got to be honest, I think Bret/Owen at Wrestlemania 10 is way overrated. It's a nice match, but I think it's mostly remembered because no one thought Owen would win (and cleanly, too) and he did. I actually prefer their Summerslam steel cage match.

Iron Man Match. Despite being two of the best of all-time they never really clicked in the ring during any of their PPV one on ones. Survivor 1992 Michaels was still very much a Singles Rookie, Mania 12 was a huge let down and Survivor 1997 Stands up only for it being in Montrael and the result.

Hogan vs Andre, and yes I was around when it happened. Even with all the hype, kayfabe and everything it's still a pretty bad match. Hogan was never a good worker in the first place (even in my 11 year old mark brain) and Andre was having major back problems, not to mention he was on the down slide anyway.

I found Cena vs HHH incredibly dull, as i have every HHH match for the last two years.

I'm not a fan of WWE ironman matches period really.
Most end up with silly pinfalls that would never, ever happen during a normal match...generally several of them.
