It seems to me the feelings about Orton are pretty fifty-fifty here onthe boards. He is not like Jericho or Cena, where it is either total love or total hate. Orton has alot of things in his favor. He comes from a wrestling legacy, he has some skills in the ring, and a good look to go with it. I think his biggest problem, really, is how he talks. He really just does not strike me as all that good on the mic. Really, he's just boring. Which leads me to believe that what he really needs is a manager or a valet, someone who can do most of the talking for him. A female manager would be perfectly in tune with the hearthrob image WWE has tried so hard to build for him. Only problem is, I don't think there are many women on the roster who are any better no the stick. Alternatively, Paul Heyman probably could have worked miracles with Orton, just as he did with a guy no one had heard of before by the name of Lesnar. Altho, I might add, Orton also definitely needs to come up with a better finisher than the RKO. It just looks cheesy.

I think that he should have a bodyguard. That should be his bigger, blonder clone that goes by the name of Daniel Rodimer!

He doesn't really need someone to talk for him, but I like your idea of a valet that could perhaps talk for him. Too bad there aren't very many women wrestlers who are any better.
Orton does sound kind iffy on the mic, but his deep voice sometimes hides that.

Orton is iffy on the mic, so you suggest he should get a manager.
But, what do ya do about him being iffy in the ring?

Orton does sound kind iffy on the mic, but his deep voice sometimes hides that. Indeed. And I think he just needs to shake a few rookie mic-jitters. He's not exactly a rookie, but he doesn't get the practice on the mic he should get if he's really "the future."

His promos have gotten slightly better since this Rated RKO thing came about. But he still has his bad moments. Remember on Raw this week?

I like Orton. He is hilarious at times such as when he waved to the ECW crowd after his match against Kurt at ONSII. I love how he always appears out of nowhere. The RKO fits him perfectly. He is so good at prowling with it and what not.

Orton ROCKS! He went to the Goofy School of Selling. That man doesn't need anything buy more ring time to display his wonderful and hilarious selling.
And prehaps his voice needs to change and become all awesome, like his dad's was. Only then will he have the total package.

Orton is iffy on the mic, so you suggest he should get a manager. But, what do ya do about him being iffy in the ring? See, Orton has the look and stature of WWE's vision of a superstar. All they need to do is have someone do all the talking and wrestling for him.

I don't think Orton is iffy in the ring, I actually find his wrestling quite alright.

I don't think Orton is iffy in the ring, I actually find his wrestling quite alright. His in-ring work is very decent, considering how he was when he first started. It's his selling that's just very odd. It's not Shad Gaspard bad, but very close.

I love his selling it's EPIC! I mean when he gets a finisher he looks dead! I mean sort of like when Rock got hit by a stunner it looked like Austin Killed him it was fantastic!

Give him Kristal as a valet/girlfriend and have them constantly sucking face. That would get him over, as the fans would be extremely jealous of him.

I thought he was good on the mic during his cocky IC champion days. Then he became face. Ugh.

Balls Mahoney needs a mouthpiece.
Or at least a visit to the dentist once every decade.

I love the way he sells, it reminds me of the rock. The cappiness of it is great, it makes moves seem more powerful.
As for the RKO. I think it's the perfect finisher for him. I love how he can hit it out of nowhere. Like at the Royal Rumble, I marked out when he hit Shawn Michaels with it.
He's above average in the ring, he's almost the total package. If he can improve his mic skills, he could be this generations Rock.

I'm dying to see Stone Cold give him a Stunner, I'm curious if he can outshine the Rock or even Scott Hall's reaction to it. I love Orton, which is friggin' crazy because when he first got out of Evolution I thought Batista was miles ahead of him. I don't think Randy NEEDS a manager but I suppose he could use one, I really enjoyed when it was him and Bob Orton, I think if it's a female it has to be someone willing to let him slap her around.
