and he's not as bad as everyone was making him out to be IMO. The way people talked about him, I expected him to botch every move he attempted. But he does a good job in his Heat match with Eugene.
He's got the big man offense, but he's a big man, so it makes sense, and the moves he did, I thought he did well. Plus he takes the Rock Bottom really well.

Seeing as the criticism is coming from those who have seen him in quite a few matches, I'll have to stick with them for now. And when he debuts I'll hope he pleasantly surprises me like MVP has.

Maybe he's improved, maybe he hasn't, but last time he was in DSW, he had all the grace of The Great Khali on horse tranquilizers, and all the charisma of the soapdish in my shower. Frankly, I'm gonna hate it when he debuts properly.

The only thing I found weird was he looks a LOT like Orton.

Not many watch Heat so it would be like it never happened. To me he looked like a generic big gut but had a good combination of power and rest holds. Also I feel he needs to develop a moveset and maybe use a powebomb as a finisher. I can't think of anyone who uses that as a finisher in WWE right now. So until he does that have him be a bodyguard for a wrestler maybe...RANDY ORTON!

I watch DSW and I'll have to agree with Spanky on this issue. Rodimer always looked lost in a match when I saw him. I have a feeling he'll be the next Nathan Jones.

I have seen him on OVW the last few weeks and he looked okay. He sounds like how Val Venis sounded when he first debuted on the mic

Just quoting my same thoughts I had in a similar thread: I just watched Heat... Holy crap, I didn't believe it before, but Rodimer really does look like the taller, blonde, less muscular (height to muscle ratio) clone of Randy Orton. His mannerism are way too similar. Are new wrestlers required to get a tattoos on their upper back or something? Rodimer needs a different look, Orton already has that appearance, maybe grow his hair longer?

speaking of tough enough, who remembers that toothless bloke who tried to play the "cocky heel" card, but forgot that this was actually a POPULARITY CONTEST, so he got voted off. he just kept doing that toothless grin, no wonder no one liked him.

This was the first Rodimer match I've seen and I thought it was ok. Nothing spectacular but nothing was botched or anything. Nice counter into a backslide in the end by Eugene.

Stupid internetconnection, it's almost unpossible (10 points for the one who gets that) for me to watch Heat. However I did see part of Rodimer's enterance and he really is a taller version of Orton. However he isn't muscular big like Test or Sid, so he won't be much of a big man wrestler I think. He's just very tall. But I noticed they called him Dan instead of Daniel. Which reminded me. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxHNhE5fPMg&mode=related&search=

I've seen Rodimer in 2 house shows and I liked him. From a distance he does look like Orton, but Rodimer is gigantic up close. I suspect he will put on a lot of mass in the WWE and look like a completely different guy in a couple of years.
