Beating Foley stopped being a big deal in 2000. Wasn't that the last time he won a PPV match also? Actually, Foley jobbed to HHH in the first three PPV's of 2000, and then he did the retirement gimmick, so 1999 might have been the last time he won a PPV match. I'm not good with these things when it relates to the Attitude Era. Just too many PPV's and too many stories to keep track of all of that.

I wish he'd wrestle Nitro at Wrestlemania(after he and Melina turned on Mick and he got "fired"), which would make more sense, but whatever, WWE can't remember anything anyways. Yeah, now they're going to have us forget that Mercury has a vendetta against the Hardys. Stupid Stephanie. She should put that communications degree to good use and stop thinking she can write storylines.

Only if we get to see Umaga splashing Foley through a flaming table, or something equally as cool.

I kinda like this match...however, this should be the last time Foley fights at Mania considering most people can predict the outcome of his matches I agree there, he'll be on the losing end for sure, and I guess put over Umaga in the process as a guy who can take punishment and all and come back to win, but he kinda did that in the match with Cena last month at the Rumble. To be honest, I don't have any interest in this match at all, but I guess it's better than Nitro/Foley and at least he gets a match at Mania.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Umaga can work a street fight type match as we saw at the Royal Rumble and it's Foley so it's bound to be good if it happens.

Since his "retirement" match at No Way Out 2001, he has won 2 (vs. Carlito at Taboo Tuesday and with Edge and Lita vs. Dreamer, Funk and, Beulah) and lost 7 matches.

Only if it's a street fight. Thats the only way I want to see it as well, and i rather see umaga vs a returning Mankind in the old school brown outfit.

If it's a Hardcore stipulation type match then yes I'd love to see it.
Mick Foley specializes in those sorts of matches, and Umaga also excells in that sort of match. Just look at Umaga vs Cena Last Man Standing.

I'd rather see Dude Love return. It's been ages since the dude graced us with his presence. Dude Love v Umaga would be fun.

I'm in agreement with the poster who said anyone beating Foley isn't a big deal anymore. However, if this was a street fight it could actually be quite good. I can see both guys being brutal with each other.
Mankind would be a better gimmick to go wit tho. Do an angle of him trying to get inside Umaga's head. It could be interesting.
