I just got done watching DSW tonight and saw Vito's new gimmick as the DSW champion. The guy looks ridiculous, honestly. He's supposed to be some muy thai master now, or something, which apparently means red boxer short looking gear with japanese writing on it, and some kind of bizarre headband that sticks straight out from the back of his head. Maybe if it was someone other than Vito, I could get behind it, but...

So he just stopped wearing the dress? Yeah, the Kennedy beat down was the end of that.

He explained that he dropped the dress because people were using it as an excuse for losing it to him, citing the dress as a distraction.

Vito is a very skilled veteran, so if he's getting out of a dress and being given a more serious character, more power to him.

I still wonder....how did this guy ever get a clean victory over Mitsuharu Misawa? Does anyone have the story behind that?

Vito will never be taken seriously in WWE now. Unless they totally ignore the fact that it's Vito in the ring and give him a new identity, he'll never be seen as anything more than the guy who used to wear a dress. They could dress him up as The Terminator but he's still gonna be the guy that puts other wrestler's heads up his dress.

I can see why they gave him this gimmick. He looks an awful lot like another muay thai fighter I have seen around... TIGER!

He explained that he dropped the dress because people were using it as an excuse for losing it to him, citing the dress as a distraction. Does he also explain how he went from Smackdown midcarder to being shipped to Deep South? They sent him down when Ryu threw a Hadouken at Vito and scarred his chest and face. I think it happened during a dark match. My memory not what it used to be, but I believe that Earth was destroyed in the fight. Tiger.

Are there any pictures of Vito in his current gimmick? DSW's web site doesn't seem to have him listed anywhere.
