He needs to dress like he did at ONS 2, in the old school attire, and not talk, just wrestle.

Rey is a good worker. But he definately isn't World Championship material.

Give him a heel turn, make him interesting again.
Put him against Helms, or move Carlito and his brother and have a "luchadore" angle.

Yeah. He would've been better as the rootinest tootinest champion in history in my opinion. He'd be a bit better if he was the Fresh and Fruitest champion in history

He's returning for Eddie. I don't see where he will fit in on the blue show.

Where did this "Rey Returns In 2 Weeks" business come from?
Did we watch the same show last week?

I don't mind as long as he doesn't cut loads of promos again, I think if he could come back and be like 2002-2003 Mysterio (or WCW Mysterio preferably) then everything will be okay.

JeeZ! Leave Rey alone! The booking made him look like a total dork - that's not his fault! Randy Orton was booked awfully in his run as champ and his feud with Triple H - He didn't get as much stick as Rey's been getting (though admittedly he didn't have a dead friend to kickstart his run, he did have a part to play in all of this. that "eddie's in hell" bullcrap was offensive beyond belief. If we're dealing out meciless slaggings let's get Chavo, Vicky and Benoit involved as well. They are just as bad for joining i. Without them the angle wouldn't work. Also - how can everyone forget the stellar matches Rey put on with the likes of Edge, Angle and, yes, Eddie himself? the man rocks! I personally can't wait for him to come back (minus all the Eddiesploitation crap naturally)
*folds up soapbox and goes back to work*

Arrrghh... I heard the music. Uggghh... I saw His Mask. Oh NOOOOOOO - Rey Mysterio's coming back in two weeks! Dammit, just when Smackdown was becoming borderline awesome, here comes Rey to stink up the television with his flat, boring promo's and "sincere" deliveries. I don't give a crap about his matches - if I never saw that damn 619 again I could die a happy man. You just KNOW he's going to roll over the likes of MVP, Finlay and Kennedy, wrestlers far more deserving of main event status than him. Damn it, damn it, damn it. Smackdown is great right now, save for Batista being the worst thing on WWE. Now we have the second. Well Smackdown already as that in Batista sinking up Smackdown inside and out of the ring. At less Mysterio can deliver an entertaining match. Big deal if they pushed him again. The only reason why he was a bad champion because how he was booked. I don't understand what the problem is? Mysterio is way more deserving of a push then a lot of the guys they are pushing. I take a Mysterio vs. Finlay match then Finlay verses the Boogeyman.

Rey should have been booked like Mikey Whipwreck....
Dominated the whole match.... but always finding a way to win...

No. I don't want to see his crappy 619. I don't want to see him bouncing around the mid-card as a dull as ditchwater face.
Mysterio is mediocre. Has been for years.

Someone remind me when it became a bad thing for the guy who's put on the best matches on a show for the past two years or so to come back.

Someone remind me when it became a bad thing for the guy who's put on the best matches on a show for the past two years or so to come back. I'll do that as soon as you remind me when Chris Benoit left. Same could be said for Finlay, Regal, Undertaker (when not working with a lump), and more recently, Kennedy. All of these guys have had far more entertaining matches than Mysterio has since 2003.
