I've read that the guy who played Al Wilson was indeed Torrie's real father?
Can I get some confirmation?
Was he ever in the business?

Do you think they'd hire that bad an actor to play the part?
Seriously, I believe it was her real dad. And I heard they both had fun with the angle.

I remember reading an interview with Torrie where she talked about getting a phone call from her brother the night of the nuptials, when Al was in his underwear. She described the whole thing as pretty funny.

Isn't faking someone's death illegal?

It's kind of disturbing seeing Al in the ring watching his daughter make out with Dawn Marie in her underwear.

Isn't faking someone's death illegal? Not as long as it is solely for entertainment purposes. Otherwise, any Hollywood actor could get arrested for conspiring in the false death of an actor they "killed" in a movie. BTW... "Look at Dawn!" "Look at Al!" "Look at Dawn!" "Look at Al!" "Look at Dawn!" "Look at Al!" "Look at Dawn!" "Look at Al!" "Look at Dawn!" "Look at Al!" "Look at Dawn!" "Look at Al!" "Look at Dawn!" "Look at Al!" "Look at Dawn!" "Look at Al!" "Look at Dawn!" Isn't faking someone's death illegal? When an actor dies on a TV show, isn't that technically faking one's death?

The angle was dumb, but Dawn had a lot of airtime from it, so it was all good.

Remember when Al and Dawn had those awkward moments to watch, then Cole and Tazz would have this exchange:
Cole: Look at Al.
Tazz: Look at Dawn!
Cole: Look at Al!
Tazz: Look at Dawn!
That happened at least three times during this angle.

With that in mind, it is possible that Cole enjoyed his little get together with John Heidenreich.

He was her father until he died. I've never been able to look at Dawn Marie the same way since that tragic death. You know it was real because WWE put one of those memorials at the beginning of their broadcasts. They only do those for real deaths, ala Rude, Hennig, Hawk, Bigelow, and Al Wilson.
