When did Hogan become a god? It all began on August 11, 1953. The day HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN created himself. He then preceded to create the universe, the galaxies and the world. Now as master of all he created, HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN wanted creatures to worship him. So he created man. Unfortunately man turned out to be so far inferior to himself that it would take millions of years for them to evolve into intelligent creatures. Not wanting to wait for that, HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN sped up the process by creating history. And the amount of history that it required for man to evolve into the creatures we are today left HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN'S own day of self creation to land on August 11, 1953. We have been worshiping him ever since just as we were created to do. Nobody's capitalizing his name. It's just appears that way because HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN is so much greater than everyone else that he stands out. Whenever you see HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN'S name you recognize it right away. No, I thought that caps was a representation of the "growth" during your constant hard-on for the Hulkster.

I'll admit the Brooke thing is funny. And if it gives Jillian something to do, all the better.

The Marine is REALLY the number one DVD rental in the country? And WWE hasn't busted out a Jimmy Hart-sized megaphone to shout on about it?

JBL in his blog said he planned on running for office in Texas, but hadn’t decided whether to run for senator or governor. He said it’s either six or twelve years away. JBL will be president of the United States in 2020. You heard it here first, ladies and gentlemen.

This all really seems more like opinion than news. Where were you when I made a rant about this last week and no one agreed with me?

A LOT of opinion talk here. Did they need a TNA mention talking about CM Punk? Why do they assume we know that Deuce is horrible, or how about the dude and him seriously marking out for Shawn Michaels for about 2-3 paragraphs. This is a news site not a fan site. I agree there, most of the stuff is him writing his views on what's going down and other news that we already know about. If it was at least The Observer, I might take it with some more credence, this is just a fan giving his opinions, nothing that we can't do ourselves.

It seems that this individual who originally made this up (not the person who posted it) is not a big fan of CM Punk or Mike Knox. It seemed to be an overly loud CM Punk chant, and of course, Mike Knox is more then just your average worker, so that wouldn't have pulled down Punk's performance, which I will say I definitely disagree with the opinion about it. Both Knox and Punk should work more together.

i don't think bryan would make it up. he was the co author for death of wcw. Plus most of the news is derived from the Observer and Meltzer himself. I'm kind of getting a little tired of the "it's just his opinions!!!11" stance here lately. Of course it is. It's from his newsletter that most people have to pay for, that you're getting for free here. People who subscribe to it (like myself) actually like the personalized opinions. It's no different than say an Andy Rooney back in the day giving his "commentary" at the end of 60 minutes. If you want NEWZ you can go anywhere online and get it straight. Until you start paying for the newsletter like the rest of us, keep your lame opinions to yourself. Or better yet, charge people for them like Bryan. No offense to anyone. Seriously. It just gets a little tiring hearing people judge a tongue in cheek newsletter that they're in essence stealing.

Or better yet, charge people for them like Bryan. They can't. No credibility. To have people pay for your opinions, someone must care about them.

The way it was posted, it seemed as if it was something serious.

The way it was posted, it seemed as if it was something serious. Sorry about that. I just get a little worked up sometimes when I think people are jumping to conclusions. Alvarez has been writing this newsletter for at least ten years, and he's always peppered his opinions in with the actual news. I just thought it was silly that some people hold him to some news standard when he's always been this way. In fact, it's what his readers want. Meltzer is as close to a straight newcaster as you'll see online. Alvarez writes in more of a commentary/editorial style. Once again, sorry if I came across a little strong.

Paying for any form of news this day and age confuses me.
Especially news about wrestling...

Paying for any form of news this day and age confuses me. Especially news about wrestling... Actually F4W is a great deal. For under ten bucks you get the newsletters and full access to a great archive of radio interviews with tons of workers, and Bryan & Vinnie's hilarious reviews of pay-per-views. It's not for everyone. But I like it. Some people bash Bryan as being critical, but he does so in such an entertaining and absurd manner that it ends up not being that offensive. There only seems to be a few guys like that online who don't seem to take themselves that seriously (Derek Burgan, Sean Carless and Blade spring to mind). It's kind of a breath of fresh air from egomaniacs on other sites who are kind of holier than thou.
