If I was RVD... Well, I wouldn't be weedin' but that's another story...
I would let it run out and no nothing for a year (literally, no matches period). Tease a run in TNA, WSX, or WWE then come back to WWE. You're bound to be given a hero's push then.

He owns a comic book store out in California. So he'll be doing that and probably getting tons of money from vacationers who say "OMFG! RVD has a comic book store!!!" Actually, that place went out of business. OMG, it did! (Wikipedia says Sept. '06). So I guess, if not WWE or TNA........ROH? A sh*tload of indies? Regardless, Lord knows he'd get a LOT of bookings. |
