Hey man can't induct everyone this year. If Perfect isn't getting mentioned then Owen shouldn't get a mention. Savage should be in before Owen. I am a lil disapointed that the HOF would let in a guy like Brawler. I realize he was important to the company making so many guys look great by destroying him. Buttttt takes away from the hall. Savage deff.
Im not firmiliar with Curtis. What do his acomplishments look like?

Here's my take on this list:
The Von Erichs-Yes. Great wrestling family that had a huge impact on the wrestling world.
Ultimate Warrior-No. Certifiable nutjob and someone who actually has a bigger ego than Vince and Hulk.
The Original Sheik-Not sure on this one. Ric Flair-No brainer but not yet.
Mr. Fuji-Absolutely. Champion as a manager and wrestler and is one of the most beloved names in wrestling. Nick Bockwinkel-Again, no brainer.
Muhammed Ali-Um, no. Sure he had his matches with Monsoon and Inoki and took part in the first WM but he really didn't make a great impact on wrestling and considering the jokes of Fridge and Rose, this would only besmirch the Greatest.
Mr. T-As a celeb, at least he did more then Fridge and Rose but still a no. Mike Tyson-Since he's going to be in jail, I'd say no. That and the fact that he's crazier than the Warrior.
Howard Finkel-Absolutely. This man has been a part of this company for over 30 years so it's a no brainer. Jim Ross-Yes. See above. Ken Patera-Not sure. Sure he was the 2nd IC champ but that's pretty much all he did. I was a Patera mark back then so I guess I'd include him. King Curtis-Don't know enough about him to make any decision. Ted DiBiase-No brainer. Jake "The Snake" Roberts-Yes. Absolutely. Honky Tonk Man-Even though he's off his cookie I'd say yes but this will happen when pigs fly. Randy Savage-Again, yes. Dusty Rhodes-Another no brainer. Dick Ebersol (NBC Executive responsible for creation of Saturday Night's Main Event)-Vince owes him actually. After all he did give Vince a network fopr the XFL. The Wild Samoans-Yes, yes, 1000 times yes. I was and am still the worlds greatest Afa and Sika mark. Big Boss Man-Yes.
Bob Backlund-Definately but it is to my understanding that he's been asked before and has declined because Bob feels he still has something left in the tank for another run.
Rick Rude-Yes The Bushwhackers-No. All they ever did was wave their arms when they walked to the ring. Now, as the Sheephearders, yes. Rocky Johnson-Yes. Since his partner is in so should he and after all, he did give us The Rock. The Brooklyn Brawler-I'd say no as a wrestler but yes because of the hard work he's done as a worker in the ring and behind the scenes.
Now, wreslters a question. On this list(and I doubt there is great validity to it) are people like Patera, Brawler, Tyson, Mr. T but missing is Tony Garea. Is there any reason why he has yet to be inducted? The man was only a 5 time tag champ. And where is Stone Cold? When is it going to be his turn? Also, Owen, The British Bulldogs...there are at least 20 other wrestlers that deserve to be on this list.

One question, why would Vince or anyone in the WWE call Hogan and go over a list of HOFers? Because Hogan knows best.

How come I have a hard time thinking this is true.
And SCSA should get into the hall seeing as how he doesn't wrestle no more. Unlike some Red, and Yellow wearing boys.

Sorry but this sounds like a crock. I'm sure a female did call Hogan but was it really Vince's secretary (I doubt it) and why in the hell would Hogan's input be that important to the process. Yeah I know he's Hulk Hogan but I never got the impression he has that much input into the company itself (just in to his own appearances). What really makes me doubt the validty of the phone call is them mentioning Warrior. I can't see how they could ever even think of inducting him into the HOF especially in view of all the legal tanglings they had. I'm not doubting the truth of the post in terms of what was said on the air but I do doubt that it was really VKM's secretary.

One question, why would Vince or anyone in the WWE call Hogan and go over a list of HOFers? Why would his input be needed when he's not even involved with the company? Make him feel important?? IDK. If this is legit, Vince is gonna be really pissed.

Where's Mr Perfect on the list? Where's The British Bulldog(s)? Where's Owen Hart? Owen is more likely to get in than Warrior or Savage ever. Exactly my reaction. Where the hell is Curt Hennig? I guarantee that Bret Hart would be willing to induct him.

One question, why would Vince or anyone in the WWE call Hogan and go over a list of HOFers? Why would his input be needed when he's not even involved with the company? Vince and Hogan were basically best friends for 10 years and have probably been quite close in recent years which is why they've been so keen to work with each other quite often. Its quite logical that the two may have discussed the HOF inductee possibilities especially when you consider that Hogan will likely be there to induct one of them.

For those wondering why Owen is never mentioned, it is because his wife wants nothing to do with wrestling, the Harts and especially Vince McMahon. As the executor of his estate, she has the final say on this.
My question is why Stu Hart hasn't been inducted, let alone mentioned yet?

Usually they narrow it down to 8 a year, in which case i would go with the following.
The Von Erichs Muhammed Ali Ted DiBiase Jake "The Snake" Roberts Randy Savage Dusty Rhodes Rick Rude Rocky Johnson
Guys Like Flair, Finkle and Ross should be retired for atleast a couple years before going in.

Ken Ivory
Hank Scorpio

Cyndi Lauper?
Bob Eucker?
Road Warriors?
British Bulldogs?
Wendi Richter?
Ricky Steamboat?
How are these people not on that list but Mike Tyson, Bushwackers, King Curtis, and Brooklyn Brawler are?
If Brawler gets in can Cryme Tyme induct him? Brooklyn! Brooklyn!
