It's about that time isnt it? Goldust has been gone for a couple months, so a new contract should be headed his way here shortly. Who's been fired and re-hired more; Goldust or Marty Jannetty?

Shawn Stasiak. He needs to run, full speed to the ring, no one acknowledges his presence, and he gets thrown out as soon as he enters. Not even thrown out. He just runs right over the top rope. And then a few seconds later, JR - 'Randy Orton is clutching on the bottom rope like a baby sloth on a tree branch.' King - 'Wait, did you see anything just now, JR? I could have sworn that the Rumble Clock had run down ...' JR - 'It was probably nothing, King. Big slam by Viscera ...'

Maybe they could nab 'Sweet N' Sour' Larry Sweeney from ROH and make RAW ten billion times better.

Not worth starting a new thread over, but I'll contribute to this thread. In relation to what happened with Trump/Rosie tonight, I would've also booked something along those lines for tonight, if the plan was as follows . . .
Tonight's RAW undoubtedly ticked A LOT of people off. Well, next week Mick Foley makes a return to RAW completely unexpected and delivers a memorable promo as only he can about the state of WWE, stressing the "E" part (or extreme--pardon the expression--lack thereof). Obviously, he points directly to Vince as the source of that debacle. The rest pretty much writes itself . . .
Vincent Ego McMahon stands his ground on the issue and delivers an equally degrading promo at Mick Foley, and Mick is suddenly a participant in the Royal Rumble as some sort of way to escalate the integrity of WWE as Vince challenges his honor and his ability to carry WWE "the right way" as Foley says he can. Then, at the Royal Rumble, the angle is furthered with a Vince/Foley moment in the rumble.
*Now, here are the "deleted scenes" portion of this sure-to-fail plan* During the Foley/McMahon moment at the Rumble (because you now they'd both have to be participants), Foley surprisingly gets the better of Vince in the end, much to the smark's surprise, eliminating him from the rumble. All this ensues as Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, and The Big Show are wrestling and--along with Foley--are the last four remaining in the Rumble. As Foley celebrates and the fans inevitably mark out, giving Vince hell and what-not, Michaels, Flair and Big Show momentarily stagnate the action in the ring due to the loud pops and "big moment" in the match. Then, as the moment swells, we get a SWERVE and Michaels, Flair, and Big Show commence to giving Foley the beating of his life while Vince gets the last laugh, winning out in the end and thus pissing the WWE contigency off by winning over and converting Michaels, Flair, and Big Show at the event. (Don't worry, it gets worse.) Who should appear no less than 5 minutes into the mayhem than one Hulk "American Dream" Hogan who runs in from the crowd and commences to wipe the mat with all three men, first eliminating Flair with a big boot and then double clotheslining Michaels and Big Show over the top for a non-decisive win, and giving him the unofficial win.
What does this accomplish? Besides getting so many peak and valley moments--outstanding spine-chilling pops and outrageous riotous jeers--from the fan base at the show, it accomplishes a lot. Now, you have hella heat going into Mania with Foley and Vince, which is what the E wants. Now, you have a major swerve with arguably the biggest thing outside of Cena the WWE has left as a face in Shawn Michaels, which gives him something to do, eventually leading up the major return of HHH that you know Vince is already drooling about. Adding Flair in the mix gives Michaels someone to work with to intensify his heat. In fact, HHH can be busy on the mic on the proceeding RAW with the angle eventually transforming that he is trying to prepare someone to set Michaels straight, finding an opponent in building for Wrestlemania. Who? Well, we all know the McMahons want to push the new DSW guy (Daniel Rodimer) straight to the top, so there ya go--that solves THAT issue for the E. Lastly, the stage has been set for the mega battle between Hogan and The Big Show. Hogan goes over Show at Mania, Foley gets a hella response after going hardcore on McMahon, and Michaels obviously goes over the new guy, leading up to an eventual HHH moment where he gets the best of him (granted, it may be 6 months down the road after that, but how long did that stupid DX stuff last? It could be done.)
As a wrestling fan, I would *despise* this and since everyone here craps on everything that is recommended, I'm sure everyone else would too; however, it does sound like fodder for entertainment/storyline marks, plus MORE IMPORTANTLY, it sets the stage for three major matches/storylines, two of which the E has already been touting. Yeah, I know, it'll never happen and should never ever EVER be allowed to happen.
. . . So, yeah, I voted for Foley.

I'd just like to point out that I appreciate when people fantasy book and don't assume that the crowd will eat it up, and that it'll 'save wrestling'.

I had assumed he MEANT for Sean to do just that... your whole post, btw.... is GOLD.

Brown would be a really good choice, though I actually wouldn't rule out Jim "The Anvil" Niedhart showing up. After all, it's not every day when a wrestler's DAUGHTER is signed with the WWE.
