I didn't mind the segment. The 'Trapper Folder' episode of South Park was on, so I was able to flip to that for a few minutes.

I think that Vince forgets that his audience is not comprised of billionaires who are buddy-buddy with Donald Trump. More to the point, I think that Vince forgets that his audience IS wrestling fans.

Are they? Lots of people boo at technical matches like Finlay/Benoit and anything Regal does. Unless you call a standard Cena or Batista match 'wrestling', which is kiiiiind of stretching it in my opinion.

If he did it for his friend, he didn't do Trump any favours.
Thus far, both Trump and Vince have only said that Rosie is 1) fat, 2) ugly 3) a lesbian.
Not exactly dignifying Donald Trump, who himself as acted like a moron.
Even that intellectual midget Bill O'Reilly rightly told Trump not to resort to insults, but he ignored him.

I didn't like his cheap shot at the late great Rodney Anoai 'Yokozuna'... There's no doubt about it, Vince McMahon does use the WWE as a vehicle to push his own self serving agenda! Be it political, spiritual, racial or personal! I wish he'd pull his f'n head in!

Hug Dave, man, I liked Charlie Murphy more anyway. I liked lesbians to an unreasonable degree long before he said it on TV.

Okay, sorry, but this thread's title just begs for the following.

And people wonder why Bruno Sammartino wants nothing to do with the company.

I have no idea about what's going on between Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump.
I don't have the slightest interest in finding it out.
And sure as hell, the last thing I want to have on RAW is a lame parody of a stupid TV quarrell.
Now, I really don't know if in the States this thing is such a big deal to deserve such attention, but anyway I fail to see why WWE should bother...

"Vince did that for his friend" ... He did it... FOR THE ROCK! He sure didn't do it for the people. You are rewarded: 1 Internet.

Luckily I was able to switch to Ohio State getting their asses handed to them. I wonder what that half-hour ratings breakdown will look like.

All it actually is, is two Pseudo Celeberties acting like 5 year olds calling each other names and the Media is loving this like it was actually something important (Slow news week) Now Vince has weighed in and shown that he can be even more immature, and use his Weekly TV show to further prove what a jerk HE is.

Ok, thanks for the quick recap... Now the questions are: WHY did Vince think this stupid stuff deserved an even more stupid parody on WWE TV? Does he think the fans will care about that and will love the angle? Does he think the Media will finally "recognize his genius" and will embrace Sports-entertainment and accept it as a legitimate part of the show-biz? And... last one... I bet he found the whole thing hilarious...
