They should still do that. Everyone complains about the brand split. Unfortunately with the WWF being the only promotion left (TNA barely registers) it's needed in order to give room for all of the wrestlers. However it's stupid to have two WWF brands. They should make Smackdown into WCW. They already have the WCW/WHC World and U.S. titles so the change would be a natural. Furthermore it would help end the confusion of why the "WWE" tag team championship is not the title that holds the linage of the WWF tag team titles.

Don't forget that they also have WCW refs and, until recently, a pair of WCW champions in KEEEENG BOOKAAAAH and Benoit.

WWFE (World Wrestling Federation Entertainment). That would be the official name. However, the announcers would still refer to the promotion as "World Wrestling Federation" when not using the initials. They were using WWFE for about a year before they changed over. But I think by that point the World Wildlife Fund just lumped that into the WWF debate too and made them change both. I know. That's why I chose the name.

Considering how downhill the company went, WCW would have been appropriate.

In hindight, changing the name to WWE was great. Now I don't have to lump the current product with the name I grew up watching (WWF). The WWE is essentially a completely different entity, and the name change fit perfectly with Stephanie McMahon's added role in the company.

Wasn't the whole debate over the scratch logo? They still have the old WWF logo on the DVD's and on 24/7. I'd have just kept calling it the World Wrestling Federation, and went back to the old block logo. Just would have to make sure that the announcers always said "World Wrestling Federation" and not "WWF". what WAS the debate over the scratch logo anyway? I thought the debate was over the wwf.com website BTW I would mark out like an idiot if they ever reached a deal that allowed them to show that damn logo again.
