What was the story behind this match? I remember the storyline, but why did these two go out there on Raw have what for them is a technical styled match, and it looked like Big Show was loving every minute of it. Was this an audible they called or something just to mess with those who criticized the hosses big man style?

It was Big Show's attempt of having fun and trying to cheer Kane up, to take his mind off the May 19th thing. Not that it worked.

The story behind the match was Big Show just wanted to get Kane to lighten up. So instead of having a match where they beat the crap out of each other, a typical big man match, Big Show just technical wrestled with Kane. I was marking like crazy for it.

Showed Big Show had a lot of talent. A precursor to his WWECW run.

The crowd totally ruined a perfectly good match imo
There's nothing worse then a crowd starting the 'boring' chant. Especially when it's something like Regal V Finlay.

I watched this match and I didn´t hear a boring chant, but the crowd went dead.

I was there live that night. I thought it was so cool to see. of course I was the only one in my section cheering when everyone else was sitting on there hands stuffing there faces with nachos and buying chain gang key chains.

Yeah the Cena mark crowds arent going to appreciate that.
Thus the utter silence during the London-Kendrick match on SD

I remember marking out during this match because Show looked like he was having a legitimately great time with it.

I've never seen it. I was hoping for a youtube video of it.
I'd probably really like this match.

After hearing how bad their PPV match was (the night before?) it was shocking and a pleasant surprise.
