Ok I jump at the chance to bash WWECW, but I'm not buying this. Khali has been pulled from lesser PPV matches because they have zero confidence in his ability to work a live match, and just last week JR in his blog laughed at anyone who thinks WM plans are made at this point. Newz until proven otherwise.

Sounds like Smark Bait. I'll believe it when I see it.

I have two responses to this:
If it's fake, then WWE needs to come up with something better to fool us smarks.
If it's real, I am so glad I decided to stop watching ECW.

Man, I'd love to see the promos leading up to the match. Lashley: I am the champion. I will be the champion. I wrestle. I like to wrestle. I am the ECW Champion. I will beat the Great Khali and retain the ECW Championship. Bobby Lashley is the real deal. Khali: OOOAAAARRGHAGGAH GHAGGORGAHGHOARAGH!!! RORGHAOORRGHAHAHGRROAGHA!! I would call Khali the winner on that debate, his argument made the most sense.

I'm hoping its fake.
The Undertaker, a 20 year vetern in professional wrestling, couldn't carry the Great Khali to a good match. How can anybody expect Bobby Lashley to do the same.

The Great Khali is expected to receive a huge push as we head closer to WrestleMania, according to PWInsider.com. His program against Tommy Dreamer has been done to design Khali as a monster monster. PWInsider.com adds that written in pencil at WrestleMania is Khali vs. Lashley for the ECW title. looks like all the CM PUNK/RVD/Sandman/anyone who has at least a speck of talent marks shall now cry. Starting...................................NOW! Corrected.

YAY!!! IT'S LIKE WWECW IS READING MY MIND!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, wait, actually it is the exact opposite of what I would want in a match.

I could see this match happening, but not at WMania. They would have to be out of their minds.

Not just as a monster, but as a monster monster! They must have gotten the idea from the Lordi song of the same name.

I hope this is a joke, I really hope it is. Hell I wouldn't be surpised if it isn't since Vince wants Batista to talk more "jive" and have longer matches.

how reliable is mike johnson? He did say written in pencil so its not for sure, maybe if WWE gets flooded with enough complaints they will change their mind. This also means no title for RVD and hes gone im sure by june or july.So wait they plan on going into Hammerstein with Lashley as champion? That will be fun to watch.

Ok, I wanna say this.
Earthquake posted something on the fourm that I'll never forget. He said that nobody is untrainable. Others take longer, but nobody cannot be trained.
The problem is The Great Khali is being given too much to soon because of his size. It's so hard for someone like Khali to be a wrestler for a few reasons. He is so big that it's not very believable for others to beat him. Now, Big Show for example. He was good for his size. Especially back in the day in WCW when he wasn't as heavy. This guy was 7 feet tall, and jumped off the top rope. Show could move. Watch some old WCW tapes, he could really move. Undertaker. He walks on the ropes. He dives over the ropes. He's very athletic. Kane, he can move around the ring and he can hold his own with guys much smaller then him. These guys can wrestle, and they can sell at the right time and they can put the right offense in the right places. Khali can't, and he's having a hard time learning. He needs so much training before he can face people in the ring.
And this is a problem in WWE. They push guys too quickly. The most successful wrestler in the WWE recently was Stone Cold Steve Austin. He wasn't a bad wrestler. He was limited because he had neck problems, but only because he had those problems. He had experience, he was a well traveled star. He even won PWI's Rookie of the Year in 1990. And he became huge 7 years later. The Rock. It came quick for him, but keep in mind, his Dad was a wrestler. He grew up around the buisness. It came naturally to The Rock. Hulk Hogan had been wrestling for years before he made it big in WWE, and he was even big in AWA and Japan. He had main event experience. They're pushing these stars so quickly.
Edge was wrestling for 14 years before he became WWE Champion. John Cena, people bash him, but he is at least consistent with his matches and he's been wrestling since 1998-2000, around that timeframe, and he taught how to videos. Bobby Lashley is still green. Batista never did all that much and even when he was brought up, didn't know much about wrestling at all (according to Brother Devon). They have to stop jump starting pushes. It may work with Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle, but that doesn't mean it will work ALL the time with every potential superstar.

While I personally wouldn't wanna see him in a match, the great pulling of hair and gnashin of teeth round here would be funny.

Here's an idea to compliment this main event:
Smackdown World title match:
Batista vs. Mark Henry vs. Undertaker vs. that new Russian guy
