-The plan as of now for the Great Khali is to continue the storyline with Tommy Dreamer. It's meant to build Khali as an unstoppable monster who has to go through the ECW original to prove himself. It's set at this point to lead to Wrestlemania with Khali getting a monster push in the process, and culminate with Great Khali challenging BOBBY LASHLEY for the ECW Championship. That's right, Khali vs Lashley for the ECW title at Mania 23.
-Brad Armstrong has in fact been on the ECW announcing team because of concerns about Taz and his contract. WWE feels that putting Armstrong in the booth will send a message to Taz that he is replacable and so he'll resign under their terms when the time comes.
-The "supposed greatest wrestler of this generation" comment that Shawn Michaels shot at Kurt Angle on Monday was not a shoot. It was a pre scripted comment given to Michaels by management. Management is still irritated that Angle got one over on them by going to TNA, and you can expect to see more Angle appearances in video packages for PPVs and such taking finishers or getting pinned etc.
-The internet rumor about Turner suing WWE about the ass cartoon is supposedly false. Sources inside the company have said there is no lawsuit, no legal discussions, and no legal letters have even been sent. Unless something changes or something comes out in the future, this is to be considered false.

Wow, forget about Punk/RVD, RVD/Lashley, or even Test/Lashley, we get Lashley/Khali, that'll trump Andre/Hogan easily, geezus H.Christ.
I hope it's not true though.

Khali vs. Lashley at WrestleMania, are they crazy? I'd like to know why the WWE thinks that the Great Khali is worthy of any sort of title match in their biggest PPV of the year.

What gets me about this Khali thing is that 5 months ago he wasn't good enough to face Taker at Summerslam so they had to pull it off the card and put it on a taped Smackdown. Now he supposedly gets a Mania title match?

Lashley is decent in the ring, but unless the match is a minute long, he's not going to be carrying Khali to a passable match at all. Man that'll be wrestlecrap enough to last for 07 and 08.

Ahem, sorry about that.
Anyhoo, the idea of Khali vs. Lashley at WM (which I'm treating as rumor) and Brad Armstrong replacing Tazz (which looks more and more like fact) just proves where Extreme Velocity is going. It's just a shame that Tommy's being used as nothing more than granite as they pave over the memory of ECW. I keep having this bad feeling that Khali's going to be the one that kills Tommy in the ring.
And if you think that this is just more ECW sour grapes and crybabying from me, well, the two items don't exactly disporve the idea that they have no clue what they're doing.
