I mean, all I see in forums and predictions about the DX/Rated RKO match at NYR is how Rated RKO is going to win the match or maybe DX but with a DQ or something to that effect and there's absolutely no way DX is going to win the tag-team belts, etc, etc... Thing is, why can't they? I mean, they could easily lose them to Rated RKO again somewhere down the road or even to another team like WGTT or somebody else. I mean, would it really be the end of the world if DX had a tag title run, even if it lasted for like 2 or 3 weeks?

I dont think its for the tag titles, but no, I'd have no problem if they won the belts.

I don't think it would matter much in the grand scheme of things.

I think also because it would be keeping the belts away from the other tag teams. Though one thing that would be really good is if they won the belts, and defended them the next night against, say, the World's Greatest Tag Team, and Rated RKO comes out and costs DX the match and the titles, it makes DX look good, it makes Rated RKO look good, and most importantly, it makes the champs look good. It's a good transition, instead of finding a way to get the belts off of heels and putting them on heels.
The belts being on the WGTT at this point is the best, because putting the belts on unestablished tag teams will only hurt them. Putting the belts on anyone who is unestablished or recently debuts normally ends up being the kiss of death (i.e. Jerry Lynn, Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch, Billy Kidman & Paul London)

No, I doubt that seriously.
Though it kinda makes them look like idiots when they beat the tag champs Spirit Squad a dozen times last year and could've won the belts, and now all of a sudden they want the belts from Rated RKO. It was better off a non-title match.
Frankly I hope they don't win, otherwise no one on the Raw roster has a hope in hell of winning.

Eh, I have no comment, people will always complain no matter what happens because people have different opinions. Personally I feel no matter who ends up with the belts after NYR, they'll end up back in the hands of midcarders soon anyway.

Oh, okay, didn't know that. Still, I wouldnt mind if they won simply because I just dont care. I HATE Orton, and Edge being with him is making me dislike him too. Have them lose the titles based on some mis-communication, they fight after the match and break up, and then.... Well, who knows how to get the belts off of DX when they've already squashed everyone in the tag division except Cryme Time and WGTT. What they did to the Highlanders and Murdoch/Cade was just retarded. Those are two good teams dammit.

I'd rather them stay on RKO, because I could see them dropping the belts to another team. The only team I would see DX being willing to lose them to would be back to RKO at the Rumble. It isn't like they cut promos all winter making fun of the tag division on Raw that doesn't exist or anything

It isn't like they cut promos all winter making fun of the tag division on Raw that doesn't exist or anything That was one promo and at the time the division was the Spirit Squad, Hassera, Cade and Murdoch, and the Highlanders, only one team was even relatively over and/or interesting (the Highlanders), then they got buried by a retarded booking decision to be used in gauntlet matches.

I wouldn't mind it if DX won the belts. Mainly because I hate the team of Edge/Orton (they just look fruity to me) plus I don't find either one interesting or anything. It would be a good way to break up the team with the worst name in the history of anything and go from there.

It would be nice to see them with the belts, if only for the reason that the belts have (IMHO) remained stagnant and forgotten on the shoulders of Rated RKO. Their main feud is with DX, which doesn't involve the titles. Either DX needs to start caring about the titles and help re-energize the Tag Div by actually participating in a Div that up until now, they've crushed or RKO needs to drop the belts so that WGTT, Highlanders, etc can have their shot.

I'm actually surprised there's so much talk about DX NOT getting the belts. In my mind, it's already a foregone conclusion.

The problem is....either way it's a lose lose situation.
If RKO wins, then DX as a "powerhouse" team might as well be finished. They can beat everyone, but those two? Not only that, but they have not built up a second contender to the tag belts (like it matters, the WWE tag belts are about as important as who the 4th string QB for Boise State is), so RKO has no real "next opponents" after DX.
If DX wins, well, then they are permanently champs. Might as well retire the belts and shut down the tag division. DX has already proven that there isn't a team out there, at all, even if they are grossly outnumbered, that can hold a candle to them. They've taken all on and decimated them....who in the blue hell is going to come get the belts?
So, yeah. WWE booking at it's finest.

Because he's the next big thing......so big he can battle and beat both Shawn and HHH!

I hope they don't win, if they do I don't see them doing much with them and having them even longer than Edge/Orton, I'm hoping Egde/Orton win somehow then possibly lose them the next night, Cryme Tyme is the only face team I can think of that has some believeable chance at winning

well wouldnt it be better if say wgtt or another team beat dx for the tag titles instead of orton an edge, since dx are the bigger stars. then again, dx wouldnt job cleanly to a team
